I'll go first: I was raised by atheist parents, but they sent me to Sunday School to give me some education in the bible and give me the choice to become a Christian later if I wanted. (I remember winning a Children's bible in a competition.) But even then I found the stories too silly to be believable.

I 'flirted' with religion when I was about 13, but again it just doesn't make any sense and is also counterintuitive to me.

How bout you all?

Draw close to God, and God will draw close to you. James 4:8

In the Bible, the friends of God were honest about their feelings, often complaining, second-guessing, accusing, and arguing with their Creator. God, however, didn't seem to be bothered by this frankness; in fact, he encouraged it.
Every time you trust God's wisdom and do whatever he says, even when you don't understand it, you deepen your friendship with God. We don't normally think of obedience as a characteristic of friendship; that reserved for relationships with a parent or the boss or a superior officer, not a friend. Hovever, Jesus made it clear that obedience is a condition of intimacy with God. He said, "You are my friends if you do what I command" John 15:14

The truth is -you are as close to God as you choose to be. It's a choice, no accident. You must intentionally seek it. Do you really want it- more than anything? What is it worth to you? Is it worth the effort of developing the habits and skills required?

OK, even though there's no proof he's the son of God, I know that Jesus existed and there's historical proof to back that up. However, I'm having trouble finding information regarding this. Can somebody provide an unbiased, non Christian/Catholic link? The type of information I'm looking for that I'm looking for talks about stuff such as the records the Roman Catholics that Jesus was mentioned in. And please don't tell me to look in the Gospels. Thanks.

I have been searching everywhere for these chords-i would appreciate any help. Here are the lyrics

1. DO YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO KNOW SOMETHING’S MISSING AND HEAR A STILL SMALL VOICE THAT YOU JUST KEEP DISMISSING. DO YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO BE TROUBLED INSIDE AND TO THINK JUST FOR YOU ON THE CROSS SOMEONE DIED. DO YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS WHEN HE KNOCKS TO SURRENDER, HAVE YOUR SINS WASHED AWAY NEVER TO BE REMEMBERED AND KNOW THAT IT’S REAL. TELL ME DO YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS.

(CHORUS)
THEN, HOW DOES IT FEEL TO KNOW YOU’RE A CHILD OF THE KING, YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER OWNS EVERYTHING. HOW DOES IT FEEL TO KNOW YOU ARE LOVED BY THE ONE WHO CREATED THE STARS UP ABOVE. HOW DOES IT FEEL TO KNOW YOU’RE ALL RIGHT WHEN YOU LAY YOUR HEAD ON YOUR PILLOW EACH NIGHT AND KNOW THAT IT’S REAL. AIN’T IT GOOD TO KNOW HOW IT FEELS

2. DO YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS WHEN YOU’RE COLD HEART HAS MELTED AND TEARS STARTED FLOWING THE MOMENT YOU FELT IT. DO YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO KNOW YOU’VE BEEN CHANGED AND IT SEEMS THAT YOUR WHOLE WORLD HAS BEEN REARRANGED. DO YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS WHEREVER YOU ROAM YOU STILL GET A FEELING YOU’RE NOT AT HOME KNOWING HEAVEN IS REAL. TELL ME DO YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS.

Muhammad was 57, and she was 9 when he forced her into marriage. Yes....the word is FORCED MUSLIMS!!! FORCED FORCED FORCED!!

"No, her parents agreed and she said yes"

How can a 9yr old consent to marriage anymore than a donkey can consent to sex with a sheik? See Muslims, children dont have FREEDOM. They are entirely DEPENDANT on their parents. In nature its the same, little cubs must stay close to their parents at all times because they are NOT YET MATURE ENOUGH TO GO IT FOR THEMSELVES.

Because children are DEPENDANT BEINGS WITHOUT FREEDOM they cannot make uncoereced choices. Furthermore, they are totally lacking the sufficient experience and knowledge necessary to make ADULT CHOICES!

Are you following me Muslim. Do you understand why this is RAPE RAPE RAPE?

So, given the above, let me ask you, DO YOU BELIEVE THE QURANS CLAIM THAT ALLLLL OF MUHAMMAD'S CONDUCT IS THE PATH TO HEAVEN....IF SO THEN YOU MUST BELIEVE THAT MARRIAGE TO CHILDREN, BY ADULTS, IS EXCELLENT!!!!!!!

And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

I know in almost all religions that, alcohol and pre-marital sex is forbidden. So why is it when muslims follow these rules we're considered extreme? Or when a muslim female covers up to which we are following the modesty of Mary we're "oppressed" but when a nun is covered she's considered "religious".?

There are many Bible verses that talk about this character or the men are children of this person. Who is he?

Deuteronomy 13:13 Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known;

Judges 19:22 Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.

I Kings 21:13 And there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died.

2 Chorinthians 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

A person whose name I will not disclose sent me an interesting email...
"I think you are brainwashed when it comes to Messianic Jews...Some of them are more Jewish than most odf the Jews in America, both ethnically and religiously...You need to be better educated than to make the ignorant statement you made in that quetion about different sects of Judaism not liking each other... I can guarantee you that I am ethnically more Jewish than you or lets say more of Middle Eastern origin than you and I bet I am much more observant than you..."

I found this interesting as not only does this person know nothing about me, but she also doesn't know anything about the religion she calls her own. My question for you guys is this: What are, and how did you come to form your opinions about Messianic "Judaism?" Were you "brainwashed" or did you have the unfortunate opportunity of forming your opinion for yourself by gathering evidence?

680 ad: All jews in Arabian were wiped-out. Jewish tribes once flourished in the region. Several hundred thosand by sword alone.

1000 ad: As many as 1 billion Hindus, over a couple hundred year span, were butchered in historys greatest genocide, the "Arab Muslim Invasions of India".

1900: Aramian genocide. 1.5 million by turkish muslims BEFORE the young turks.

1950: India, 15 million hindus, many burned alive.

Does this reflect on Islam? But for Islam, would these Jihadists followed a duty of Jihad? Each and everyone of these horrors was fueled by Islamic doctrines. If those doctrines didnt exists, would these events have occured?

Take the hindus of that time...they NEVER invaded any other country or people. They had doctrines of PACIFISM and thus, we can see how their doctrines INFLUENCED THEM. Without Jihad doctrines, do you have Jihad? Without Islam, do you have Jihad? Isnt the problem....ISLAM itself...HELLO MCFLY...IS IT NOT?
