There are many Bible verses that talk about this character or the men are children of this person. Who is he?

Deuteronomy 13:13 Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known;

Judges 19:22 Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.

I Kings 21:13 And there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died.

2 Chorinthians 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

Belial (also Belhor, Baalial, Beliar, Beliall, Beliel; from Hebrew Bliyaal בליעל) is an evil being in Hebrew mythology, and also a term used to charcterise the wicked or worthless.

Belial is said to be very respectful. Belial is also the demon of lust. As a Prince of Hell, he commands 80 Legions of Demons and is specifically the Prince reigning over the Northern Reaches of Hell. The other princes include: Gaap, Asmoday, and Vassago.

In early Christian writings, Belial was identified first with an angel of confusion and lust, created after Lucifer. Paradoxically, some apocrypha credit Belial as being the father of Lucifer and the angel that convinced him to wage a rebellion in Heaven against God, and that Belial was the first of the fallen angels to be expelled.

Haha! Those are really odd names! Tyresa isn't too bad, it sounds like Teresa with a twist, Synbah and Jonethene are just ridicolous. Aliesse isn't too bad either, not my style, but better than the rest of these. Kronk and Lycan are just really odd, they sound like some kind of mythical beings! They remind me of Kraken a legendary giant octopus that was feared by the vikings, and Lycan makes me think of werewolves. I haven't seen the underworld movies, but I do believe they have something to do with supernatural beings, vampires and such. Shamroc Crayter is horrible, trendy yuneek name. God no! Drako Banchee, poor kid! I work in kindergartens and I've seen a lot of odd names as well, at least they probably sound odd to english speakers. Don't know if they "top" these, but here are some of them: Lyder (Leeder, meaning: sounds like in norwegian) Boy Just (Yust) Boy Hedda Girl Mauritz (Maur is ant in norwegian) Boy Jannick (Ya-keek) Boy Shalom - Girl Storm - boy I've also lived in China, some people chose rather odd english names: Ice (Female) Mutton (Boy) Happy Bear (Boy) Happy (Boy) Love Swallow (Girl) Hunk (Boy) Tank (Boy)

"Belial" literally means "Good for Nothing", and was a harsh but not demonic nickname for those perceived as "Good for Nothing".

By the first century CE, the name "Belial" had become a nickname for Satan.
