The Holy Spirit is always in Believers, but there are times we may "feel" as if it's not there, and other times, its presence is so strong we can't deny it. How have you experienced the latter?

For instance, were you ever hurting, sad, or afraid, and the Holy Spirit comforted you instantly where all you could do was smile? Or were you ever in a terrifying situation, and instantly you felt courageous and unafraid?

The video below describes how I've experienced the Holy Spirit.
It's not uncontrolled or visually dramatic. I don't fall out with arms and legs swinging, or screaming. It's very gentle, comforting, and present. But others may have a different experience.

Do you believe that God chooses ahead of time whether you go to Heaven or Hell, or do you believe that that's up to us?
I don't believe in predestination because I believe God gives us freedom to choose whether or not to accept him.
What do you think?

Every Christian learned about Christianity from someone else. Your teachers themselves had teachers, who also had other teachers, on and on back through the generations.

How far back do you trace your "spiritual family tree" before coming to the Roman Catholic Church?

What exactly are the requirements?

Why would Jesus/God Pick and choose between anybody that follows Christianity/Jesus?

That may sound strange to some, but when I listen to his music it is a spiritual experience for me. He sings of love, forgiveness, hope, etc. It's beautiful and pure...it truly is.

And, no I'm not high...I'll go ahead and clear that up for those who will say I am.

Come on, it's not that I have anything personal against this guy but seriously:

HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY CHANGE YOUR SEXUAL ORIENTATION THAT FAST??! IT'S NOT THAT SIMPLE!!!! (Trust me: my cousin is gay ^_^;)

I really don't think you can walk into a rehab center and simply walk out a straight man.

Any other people agree with me? :/

P.S. I have nothing against gay people. It just disappoints me when political and religious leaders blatantly lie.

If you're Christian and you died, what would be the thoughts running through your head when you found out that Islam (or any other conflicting religion you want to insert here) is true and you weren't going to Heaven?

Would God still seem fair? I hear Christians say that Jesus is the ONLY way to Heaven, and then they throw in the "God is fair" line.

Well, if your religion wasn't correct and you lived a moral life and yet you were still going to Hell FOREVER, would you still say God is perfect and fair?

The Bible speaks of untold acts of horror; murder; terror; death and destruction. It speaks of events long passed, as well of events to come. I am searching. I look for any reference to what became known as the Holocaust. I look further for any reference to other atrocities, such as the African slave trade, the Irish atrocities, and even Somalia as is happening today...because after all, the Bible - even as it was written many centuries ago, also speaks of EVENTS to COME.
Throughout these early centuries, are books written by other than Israel. We know they "wandered" for years and years.
But tell me. Did any other group of people 'wander' from place looking for a "promised land"? If God truly looked upon Jewish people as his "chosen", how did He refer to other of his "children"?
Did He love and embrace them as he did the Israelis?

Muhammad's Holocaust of Jews from their Arabian Homeland: "And he bequeathed to you their lands, their homes and their possessions, together with land you have never trodden. Allah has power over everything" http://www.americanthinker.com/2005/06/muhammad_and_the_jews.html

Hindu Holocaust 1: “Let it be said right away: the massacres perpetuated by Muslims in India are unparalleled in history, bigger than the Holocaust of the Jews by the Nazis; or the massacre of the Armenians by the Turks” http://www.nalanda.nitc.ac.in/resources/english/etext-project/history/gautier/chapter4.html

Armenian: "The first genocide of the 20th Century occurred when two million Armenians living in Turkey were eliminated from their historic homeland...The despotic Sultan responded to their pleas with brutal persecutions." http://www.historyplace.com/worldhistory/genocide/armenians.htm

Hindu 2 happened in the 50's and is numbered at about 15 million Hindus butchered or burned alive (google it).
