To get into heaven you don't need to be in any specific religion; you don't even need a religion, it's just a way to express you faith and love for God. I don't think the requirements are so easy to explain and black and white. To get into heaven I believe that you need to believe in God and have a relationship with Him. Try to do things the way you think He would want you to, and when you mess up ask for forgiveness. The most important thing to do is believe in Him and love Him.

He didn't. Thru Him we all have the choice to follow the words of God or not. Jesus' death gave the pathway for all to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
Acts 10:34Then Peter began to speak: "I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism 35but accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right. 36You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, telling the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.
Acts 10:44While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. 45The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. 46For they heard them speaking in tongues[b] and praising God.
Then Peter said, 47"Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have." 48So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days.
------
it is not one religion that will the sole religion that will enter Heaven, but it will be those who live their lives with the faith and belief that Jesus taught.

It has nothing to do with Evangelical or Fundamental, it has to do with submitting to God.
Matthew 7:21 -- "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven."
Matthew 12:50 -- "[Jesus said,] For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother."
Matthew 19:17 -- "So He [Jesus] said to him,... 'But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.'"
Revelation 22:14 -- "Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city."
This theme is repeated over and over in the Bible, especially the New Testament. This is how God will choose the true followers from the false.
The Commandments of God express his will. These are the way to peaceful, wholesome, happy, fulfilling life. Therefore, it will only be those who understand that and show they want it, by living it now, who will receive it for eternity.

Either you face God with Jesus or alone. Jesus was perfect we are full of sin and are considered filthy. If you think God will overlook your sin because your sorry or time elapsed, think again. Because if God wouldn't look at his own son on the cross, how much worse shall it be for us, who were given an opportunity to be forgiven. Jesus is the only way. Without him you will perish forever.

One must : 1) Confess Sin. 2) Ask for Forgiveness. 3) Ask Christ Jesus to Come in to ones Life. 4) Confess Christ Jesus as LORD, and Savior.
It has been my Experience that Fundamentalist/Evangelical Christians are more likely to do this than others who are of the more Liberal Persuasion.
