Americans are people having citizenship of America. Muslims are people sharing a faith in the Muslim religion. To be an American you do not have to follow any religion. I believe it is written into the Constitution. To be a Muslim you do have to follow the Muslim faith.
Logic would dictate that Muslims are more religious than Americans.
What this is supposed to signify is not clear. It is like asking which is more like a car, a Ford or Detroit. The answer is Ford but there are some very good cars in Detroit.

I haven't even looked at any answers yet, but I have to say Muslims, because that's what you call someone who follows the teachings of Muhammed (pbuh), an American is just someone who happens to live in a certain geographical region, and not all Americans are religious at all, and I don't see too many people here praying 5 times a day. It's not like they're a nationality, man.

I believe that muslims being the Middle Eastern portion of the world are more religious. Mostly because being religious has to do with the practicing of ones faith. Middle Eastern countries put a press on the muslim faith and make it hard to have a choice in faith. Though it'd be nice to believe the whole world is like America where you can chose your faith and how often you practice it Middle Eastern countries are not like that. They have to pray 5 times a day and make their way to Mecca at least once in their lives. They must attend mosque among many other things I'm not so educated on. But they are more practicing. Among Americans though 80% may say they are Christian only maybe 20% of them consistently attend church and practice their faith fully. It's a very difficult subject but it's like how I see it, faith isn't having a religion.

Your question makes absolutely no sense. American is a nationality somewhat and Muslim is a religion. Someone can be American and Muslim at the same time. You need to read some more.

Neither,
But it would seem that Muslims are more FANATICAL

Yes, although you are confusing a nationality and religion.

I believe I understand the point you are asking.
American religions (including but certainly NOT limited to Muslims) and the Muslim religion alone.

Religion represents a small portion of American life. For Muslims, it is the only portion.

Youre asking a loaded question...youre aking whether a Country is more religious than an actual religious group!!!! Go get yourself an education or just go to the library and read a few theology and geology books and then rethink your question, if you still even care.
