no, because it happens to the best of us. why fear something that you know that you can not escape and live your life around it. i would rather have a bitchin time while i can and then go out in a blaze of glory.

No. I've been under general anaesthetic; if death is oblivion, I know there's nothing to fear. And if there is some kind of afterlife, I suspect that at our present level of functioning it's something we're incapable of comprehending. I'll find out when I get there.
DYING, on the other hand... now that can be a nasty and long-drawn-out business. I have some concerns about how I'll die. But death itself? Nope, no worries.

No, not at all.
My cousin is an extreme kayaker and was caught in a really bad churn. He had to be resuscitated and spent a few days in the hospital.
He said the dying part was not that big of a deal, but the trying to stay alive part hurt in an indescribable way.

Sometimes it scares me. But then I think; there's gotta be something better, a better place, out there than the world we live in now. With all this Crime and Violence and Death... I have my own opinions and beliefs. Anyway, I'm more afraid of losing those around me, then for myself to die. I believe in God, and when I die, I want to spend the next life with him. But I also believe in reincarnation and evolution. It's complicated to explain my own beliefs.

I don't fear what happens to ME after death, but I worry about what would happen to my loved ones after I pass, I just don't want my death to inflict pain on anyone.

There is no reason to fear being dead. Nothing bad can happen to you once your dead. What I fear is suffering in a nursing home beforehand. Why do we not let dogs and cats suffer but not allow doctors to prevent suffering in humans?

No. I may one day, but I don't now. I also don't understand those who claim that those people who say "no" to this question are lying. The truth is as I said, I do not fear dying.
