How can you overcome death as one of your fears?

Sometimes i fear living more than death so what doe's that say for me?

Just accept that everyone will die and be sure of where will go after death..like a promise land for those believer.

what else bad can be happend to a person except death , it is a reality and every one should accept it and if the case is of a muslim then he must have strong belief in death and new science research has come to that point which says that this universe is not created accidently infact the scientist accept that there is some one who created the world and regulating all the universe i m amazed that how a realistic person is affraid of death which is a reality perhaps cruel but in all religions people believe in the day of Judgement and Death then all of us should infact Wait and it is only possible through death for that day where we will b able to see all the persons who lived in the world and we wish that if we had borned at that time so we could see them

I have had so many illnesses that I should have died from now (and I'm only 39...) that I feel like I've already faced that. However much longer I live is icing on the cake.
Besides that, I have a strong faith in God, and I know this life is not all there is.
You don't have to agree with me, but that's how I got over my fear of death.

By realizing that it is inevitable and there is not a thing you can do about it. It's pointless to worry about or fear those things you cannot change no matter what you do.

I personally don't fear death. Death will come when it comes. I regret that when it does come - soon or late - it will cause pain to those I love. But I cannot do anything about that either.

Jesus Christ is the Way and the Truth and the Life.
He said:
Truly, truly I say to you, , he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life."

The resurrected Christ said this to John:
"Do not be afraid, I am the First and the Last, and the Living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades (Hell). (Revelation 1:17,18)

By understanding that Jesus Christ has conquered death and it will be done away with. Soon, there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.

I don't recommend it, but watching someone you love die.

Since I held my mom as she died, I have not feared dying. It will come when it will come -- it is the natural end to all things, so why fear it?

We should remember that death does not really happen to anyone. Jesus conquered death, Everyone has eternal life, either in heaven or hell.
