I asked a question 'how old is the world according to the bible' the most common answer was 6000 years old. I then asked why can science prove we are older, then get many replies that the bible doesn't say it is 6000 years old.

When I - an atheist - reply to God believers that I don't believe in God because his existence is not proven, I am answered with this question:
Can you prove that there is no God?
But why should I prove that there is no God? I mean is, I'm not the one who is stating something?

Is it possible to lose your salvation? And if so, what are your thoughts on this verse:

4For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Can it be permanently tooken away?

Anywho, after my last question, many people said..

"Then who created God?"

--

Well... The bible says God isn't a created being. He IS the one that always existed, he IS the one that exsists now, and he IS the one that will always exsist.

If WHATEVER that made all of creation... every star... every planet.. ALWAYS exsisted, how can it not be God?

If you are an Athiest, wouldn't your God be just that, whatever that thing is?

Athiests don't have faith, they have reasoning. Don't our human minds have limits? Isn't it just common sense that there absolutely must be something that made us, whether it's a God that loves us or unknown waves of energy and mass?

God is the beginning and the end, the Alpha and the Omega.

Why were these people destroyed? This is an honest question not one to mock you. I just don't understand it when christian gays say that homosexuality was not condemned in the bible, and I would like to hear your point of view.

I'm a Christian. When the Holy Spirit urges you to tell a random person that is not saved that you do no even know about Jesus, what is a good way to start the conversation?
