Because you are blind and deaf.
Romans 11:8
as it is written: "God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes so that they could not see and ears so that they could not hear, to this very day."

Jesus is the truth, the way and the life!

"Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One"

God is not silent- He sent His Son into the world to die to save the world, that is far from silent- and Jesus came to earth so He is not invisible that way either. God wants to make Himself known to the people that He has created, it is our choice if He remains silent or not. Give yourself to Jesus by asking Him to forgive you of your sin, and you will hear from heaven in many ways. Not necessarily audible voices, but He speaks to the heart, through His Word and through His Spirit. Look at creation, He speaks volumes through that as well.

first of all, do not misunderstand the invisibility of God. For clearly he is visible When he wants to be.
God is not silent, he speaks through Messiah
but technically it is jesus who does the work in the world and in this generation of everlasting. However i may not be correct totally, God himself if he does anything he does it for eternal reasons or for eternity. If he were to appear to every mortal being he would disrupt the plan of salvation through Faith for a man that sees God, will no longer have faith but He will KNOW.
Even though i have seen the vision of Glory of jesus christ, and know that there is a God I still have to rely upon faith and to be able to choose and study. Someday Jesus and God will appear and we will see THEM as we see our neighbors. it is written that God did appear to Abraham with 2 angels and dinner was cooked and at the same time sodom and gomorah were destroyed. it is also written that Jesus promised those that achieve a perfect level of faith and obedience, that THEY both would come and eat dinner with them. Therefore it is concluded that God Does Eat and we Know Jesus comes and eats fish with his apostles and throughout history he has come like a thief in the night many times.

God is neither silent nor invisible. It is a question of conditioning. Due to contact with the material world, our souls have become covered by illusion. When this illusion is removed, we can once again realize our position and relationship to God, enabling us to both see and hear Him.

He's not silent, nor invisible. He's constantly trying to talk to you. You just have to stop and listen. [Prayer is a two way street]. You probably won't be able to see him until you die but He's always around. I hope this helps.

Becuase he is transcendant

Here's an ancient description of God
"He-Who-Is is inexpressable. No principle knew him, no authority, no one under him, nor any creature from the foundation of the world, except he alone. For he is immortal and eternal, having no birth; for everyone who has birth will die. He is unborn, having no beginning; for everyone who has a beginning has an end. No one rules over him. He has no name; for whoever has a name is the creation of another. He is unnameable. He has no human form; for whoever has human form is the creation of another. He has his own appearance - not like the one we have received and seen, but a strange appearance that surpasses all things and is better than everything. It looks to every side and sees itself from itself. He is infinite; he is incomprehensible. He is ever imperishable and has no likeness to anything. He is unchanging good. He is faultless. He is everlasting. He is blessed. He is unknowable, while he knows himself. He is immeasurable. He is untraceable. He is perfect, having no defect. He is imperishably blessed. He is called 'Father of the Universe'

God may be far removed and distant from our perceptions I think is what this means, if this helps ;)

The creator once walked with humans, but humans became arrogant and the creator left us here. Look around, you see how arrogant humans are?
Can you imagine what would happen to Jesus if he did come back. " Hi, I'm Jesus." People be like, prove it. Some drunk would go.......if you are jesus turn this water into wine right now. people would challenge jesus or god.....more so now then ever because now we THINK we are in control of everything.

God is not silent. He tell us in his word. How much he loves us.. And how we should live. We can pray to him. And he answers me. You have know how to look for him. People don't see him because they are still walking in darknees. Light don't understand darkness. Darkness don't unstand the light. It is like oil and water. They don't mx. He is all around us. But the problem is people are seeking him. They are seeking themselves

He is always visible to us. He is with us and speak to us everyday. You have to keep on praying and trust. I like this message someone sent me once: Your mistakes can never erase the love God feels for you. If you fall, ask for pardon and keep on walking coz God is always by your side" just trust.

God is silent and invisible because it takes faith to believe in Him. And not only insane and mental people see Him. God works through others to help us. The next person you talk to is a person, yes, but God is working through them to help you. So not only insane people see God, we just see them in different ways.

He is not silent, he wrote 66 letters and put them in a book outlineing what he wants people to do. Called a bible.
To those who believe in him he is anything but invisible.

There is something you should be aware of, even though you can't see him. He doesn't have any problem seeing you.
