There's no such thing as a "soul".

I have no clue why someone gave dissturbb a negative point. An identical twin is a clone. The cell divides and each person has identical DNA. So clones would be lab created "twins" of their parents.

you do need gametes, however, to inject the DNA into. (an egg at least)

i believe you obtain your soul on your first breath really, so i guess i shouldn't answer this question as i don't believe a soul is born during conception. That would mean that everything the body miscarriages a material that was not viable, it would be death, when science shows that most miscarriages are the body rejecting foreign material

Clones have one thing missing: souls. A clone does not have a soul and will not go to heaven or hell when they die.

If a clone is a human being, it has a soul from the moment it is conceived, from the moment it begins to replicate its own DNA.

Great question. Although I don't know the answer none of this comes as a surprise to God. I was also wondering....will clones have belly buttons?

it once was said that the soul is infinite so it can be said that when starting to make a clone part of the soul is taken to be part of the clone. part of infinite is still infinite.

clone is the same thing as an identical twin to a certain degree, the embryo splits into two separate parts after fertilization, scientist basically do the same thing but to a much older cell, so wouldn't you agree that they are not really the same person, the brain is somewhat wired after birth giving twins there differant personalities

Life doesn't begin unless God creates it. And when He does, He gives it a soul.
