Hey,
I've noted a lot of Christians seem to renounce the occult, and I want to know why [Don't quote.].
From my experience, those converts from the occultic areas were like Wiccans, or dabblers. They never got past the concept of "Do your thing, and you get stuff!" Then as soon as the kitchen got a little warm, they ran liek Hell.
I'm not trying to be rude, but most of their knowledge comes from outside sources, that are all biased.
Also, a lot of the Ex-Wiccans seem to be more along the lines of the fluffies, who cry because they cursed someone, and it rebounded. Why? You were a Wiccan, you had a tenet saying not to do that, so of course it came back.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, please, stop thinking about it merely in terms of, "OMG, I do teh spellz and I get teh stuff!"
Most of your converts were dabblers who didn't study enough before trying, or joining a group, or were Christians who wanted attention, so they jumped on the band wagon.
Thanks,
