I am trying a career because i want to try to do it and everyone at my church is just saying God lead me to ths career

this is probably one of the toughest questions for anyone to answer. More often than not when we ask people from "the church" we will receive some set answer like, well if you wanted it and you prayed about it and it happened God must have wanted you to have it... I've gotten that answer a few times myself... But I do not believe that is necessarily true.
I believe that the only way to know what God wants you to do in VERY specific situations like a career choice, whether to date this person or not or what ever is when you are truly walking with and right with Him.
When you are actually living life the way the scripture lays it out for us you will begin to better understand Gods will for you. Study His word. Start at the beginning and start reading... I mean really reading like there is going to be a test at the end. The more spiritually mature you become, the more clear His will becomes.
Some will tell you that it is not possible to live the way God wants us to. That my friend is a lie. When God became flesh in the person of Jesus Christ part of that was to show us that we can deny our flesh. Remember, He was tempted by the same things we are tempted by!!!
Regarding your new career as well as other things you want Gods guidance on... which should be pretty much everything... try praying that if it is not in His immediate will that it will be shown to you or that that particular door will be closed. Look for answers to your prayers!!!

if you are a "born again" Christian, the Holy Spirit of God lives inside you and will lead and guide you and you can ask Jesus to open the doors for you according to God's will.
John 3: The Words of Jesus Christ (God in the flesh)

If after trying and asking for His blessing at your endevour 3 times and you see it not going anywhere, maybe God is saying.."try another career'.
My opinion.
On the lighter side..Don't ask God where to park your car at the mall...ok?

God is guiding your life, whatever your career is, it is because God willed for you to be that. I believe that when we fail at things, it is because it wasn't a part of God's plan for us, and we should accept what god gives and doesn't give us. peace.

All we can do is read the Bible and try to follow it as closely as possible for guidance in our daily lives. God can use you no matter what your choices are. God is that big in our lives and that generous to give us the choice.

Read, study, and obey HIS WORD. HE will give you several opportunities in this life. I imagine that you found that opportunity but if YOU ask HIM for guidance and assistance, HE will do so. GOD is absolutely awesome!! Have a great evening.

you will know because its your hearts desire to do it. you are good at it and was meant to do it. Also his word tells us what he expects from us; I have lead you in the way you should go to do good ol man. and this is the will of God for u that you believe on the one he sent.

God will send somebody or something and that will basically give you a clue of what he wants you to do!
