I have been going through a lot of doubt in my life ...I was raised catholic then become an adventist later ..but, after a while I realized it was a mistake , and it was a cult, it was not the faith that really suits me as a person and didn't bring harmony in my life ..Although I was reinitiated in it, I left it, for coming back to my former faith by restudying it, but I saw I can't still integrate it ..so I have no reference right now ...I lived my life without religion and even without faith, because, I am starting to doubt now, of my inner christian faith ...I am feeling intense doubt and confusion and can't even pray faithfully..I can't seem to accept at all Islam, Judaism and stuff, everything seems illogic right now ...what to do when feelings those period of lost, and intense doubt ..? have you experienced that already ..? what if I can't find any, I choose instead an esoteric path ? those of who , who have been there, what did you do , to have a spirituality back ?

Like shadrach,Meshach and Abednego who were thrown in the fire for not bowing down and worshiping the king.

If you were in the same position, would you go through the fire for your beliefs(or lack of)?Or would you immidiately do whatever you were demanded to do?
WHY?

In Psalms 147:4 God Almighty "He counts the stars and call them all by name." Isaiah 45:12 and Jeremiah 33:32 "...and as the stars of the sky cannot be counted and the sand of the seashore cannot be measured....." Then we have to conclude that God Almighty is who He said He is...Omniscience Creator. See why Christians cannot and will not believe in evalution.

Has anyone noticed yet that among all of these questions, not a single one is from a muslim attacking any religion, but there are many attacking muslims? Has anyone else noticed that they defend it with nice words, and not hatred as the nonmuslims do? Just a thought. Something to think about when you're judging lest ye be judged and stirring up trouble like the devil enjoys you to do.

I believe in God, but sometimes I think that I'm not really close to him. I ask for things, but I get the feeling that he doesn't listen to me as seriously because I'm a sinner. In other words why does the Bible forbid lust, pride, and ambition, these are very normal traits of human nature and I think that the only true sins are when you murder, when you steal, and when you don't respect property (ex. a wife or something like that). I mean does God want us to be like monks? Everybody is ambitious, everybody wants a better living, why not perceive it, I mean I don't want to be poor, and I do respect poor people, I'll even give money to the poor. I watch porn, and that's my lust right there, why is it bad, I like it and I'm not hurting anyone, does God dislike me because of this? Someone clarify on this, are we supposed to be like monks?

When you do your research about islam or any other religion for that matter do you use an anti-islamic site or an unbiased one? If you use an anti-islamic site, do you ever check up on what they say or just believe what they say first hand? When you see a verse, do you bother to check up on the context and reason behind it? I know there are anti-christianity sites also but when i come across something like that i dont believe it without checking up on it. lately i've seen so many misconceptions toward islam rising up and magnified so much that they are blown out of proportion. also, when you see some muslim trying to clear something up do you listen to them with an open mind or is there no point? i would just like to know because lately i've been getting frustrated by the way people (i know, some, not all!) respond. please please no disrespectful answers. sorry for talking so much. thank you

OK, let me restate my question, I think I made it too confusing.
For something to become true in our minds, we take the "newly observed truth" and compare it to our observed phenomena of the world we have experienced up unto that point. If it seems to fit, we add it to the pile, else we toss it. But our understanding of these things we take as true is only perceived truth, the information that we structure, understand, and internalize is not ultimate truth. It is subjective, meaning subject to our own interpretations of events, which are heavily influenced by our biases. Sure we can help validate our beliefs by conferring with 3rd parties, but they also experience all phenomena subjectively, therefore their perceived truth is incomplete as well. This being undeniably true in all people, how do you know your Truth to be true when it irrefutably is based on biased reasonings of yourself and others and not objective truth. This said, how do you know faith to be accurate without constant..

So from a Christian's view point, God knows everything. That means he knows where we will go after death before he even creates us. So that means he created a whole bunch of people he knew were going to hell.

This brings me to some conclusions:
1. God is not all loving OR,
2. he is not all knowing OR,
3. the Predestination theory is correct OR,
4. God does not exist

What do you think about my reasoning? Is it logical?

Seriousyl, if..for instance, christians learned more theological history and NOT just biblical history.

Wouldn't that help (if atleast a little) the tolerance level?

I konw its wrong. But some people are aguing that it is right and if you abort the uborn child. You're only killing the physical body but not the soul and the soul will born into another physical body into another family.

Isn't that reincartion. They don't even know for sure that reincarnation is true. Why don't they just put the child up for adoption, that way they know the soul is alive in the world.

If God is as a Potter, and we are as the clay.....WHO...WHO is in control ? Who is sovereign? who are the "subjects" in His Kingdom? ..." it is God who works in you to will and to do according to his good pleasure..." WHO directs the steps of man? so, as we are the "dust" of the earth, and mixed with his holy waters, hence, the clay, which is "formed" into a vessel to serve his purposes and his pleasure,....NOW, tell me about YOUR free will ....remember,....I'm not particularly interested in the fact that you " FEEL + THINK " that you have "free will". Remember,..." lean not on your own understanding ! "
