You don't have to kill to be peaceful. That in fact, is not peaceful PERIOD. But Muslims kill for peace for because of their "holy jihad" and i wanna know why they do that?

I'm a muslim woman, and last time I checked, nobody I knew anywhere in the world killed somebody. The extremists are an exception because they have their own twisted and non religious agenda that they use religion to spread. I disgust them. I can't kill you for no reason at all. If you tried to kill me, I'm told to forgive you, but revenge is still my option. If you try to kill one of my children, regardless of what Islam says or not, I'll be on you like white on rice. And jihad has more than just fighting and killing. It means a spiritual struggle. The women who are standing up for themselves against the Taliban are on a jihad. They are demanding their rights. Taliban kill them for doing what the Quran says, getting the highest education possible. Islam says women have just as much right to be part of society as a man, but screwed up culture wins over in those countries. I've been to Pakistan. I've travelled all over it. I heard the same thing "Islam is second to culture here. The traditions of our ancestors are more important. We do what our fathers did". Please read the Quran and those verses in context before creating mistrust and trouble. It's not a good thing in the eyes of God to attempt to harm a living being.

There are many things about killing that are wrong.
there is part even about against killing babies because they are girls (yes they used to do that before Islam came).
Surah: 18 Aya: 74
74. Then they both proceeded, till they met a boy, he (Khidr) killed him. Mûsa (Moses) said: "Have you killed an innocent person who had killed none? Verily, you have committed a thing "Nukra" (a great Munkar - prohibited, evil, dreadful thing)!"
Surah: 4 Aya: 94
94. O you who believe! When you go (to fight) in the Cause of Allâh, verify (the truth), and say not to anyone who greets you (by embracing Islâm): "You are not a believer"; seeking the perishable goods of the worldly life. There are much more profits and booties with Allâh. Even as he is now, so were you yourselves before till Allâh conferred on you His Favours (i.e. guided you to Islâm), therefore, be cautious in discrimination. Allâh is Ever WellAware of what you do.
Surah: 4 Aya: 90
90. Except those who join a group, between you and whom there is a treaty (of peace), or those who approach you with their breasts restraining from fighting you as well as fighting their own people. Had Allâh willed, indeed He would have given them power over you, and they would have fought you. So if they withdraw from you, and fight not against you, and offer you peace, then Allâh has opened no way for you against them.
Surah: 81 Aya: 8
8. And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned.

Way to put all Muslims under a small category. Only some radical Muslims kill for peace just like only some radical Christians force their beliefs on others.

real muslims do not go to "Jihad" to kill people but to defend and free their lands real muslims even in a state of war they never kill women children old men unless those women or oldmen fight them. (what i'm talking about is written in Quraan God's words in Quraan not mine)
but i don't blame u or anybody who speaks like this about islam and muslims coz if u read more and tried to educate ur self about the actual reality behind what u see in ur biased media then u will find that the reality of islam is much more beautiful than u think.
if someday u felt like knowing more about the real Islam not the one they want u to see in tv and mass media, don't hesitate to ask me i can provide u with credential websites or books that can provide u with real information and knowledge about islam.

Right, see, we just went over to Iraq and preached the locals our superior morals, and Saddam was so moved that he decided to hang himself in penance for his sins...
And you think that Muslims are the only people that kill for their beliefs (I'm not saying all do, of course)? White "nationalists", pro-lifers, so-called "liberals", anti-racists and animal rights activists have all committed horrendous murders of innocent people in order to get what they want, and they are no different from Middle Eastern terrorists. Muslim=religion. America=country. Now if you'd said muslims/christians or something, but America has a lot of different religions here, and some of our people are muslim so basically the question isn't very logical.
