I konw its wrong. But some people are aguing that it is right and if you abort the uborn child. You're only killing the physical body but not the soul and the soul will born into another physical body into another family.

Isn't that reincartion. They don't even know for sure that reincarnation is true. Why don't they just put the child up for adoption, that way they know the soul is alive in the world.

I never said reincarnation is true or the soul. I'm saying people should not abort their unborn children.

Why would anyone want to abort a child when you can put him/her up for adoption?

This matter all comes down to when you consider life to begin. Some would say that life begins at the moment of conception (my personal opinion). Others would argue that life begins sometime later--at various points along the fetal development.
The problem most people struggle with after the fact that they have discovered that they have an unwanted pregnancy. Abortion is an easy way out for the inconvenience of pregnancy. Very few think of the ramifications of sex in the heat of the moment.
That being said, Christians can say abortion is wrong and demand that it be repealed; however they would need to be willing to step up and provide the funds to help raise these un-wanted children and be the parents to these abandoned children.

Each life is valued by God from conception. PERIOD!!! Its tragic that other humans don't value each life as well.

Can you not see the huge difference between abortion and adoption? Setting aside your moral objection for just a second, let's examine it logically.
A woman gets pregnant. Before there is even a bump, the baby is aborted. Now, imagine that the woman has to spend 9 months carrying that baby to term and giving birth to it. That creates an inevitable bond with it. Unless you are the most religious zealot in the world, you must be able to accept that women who abort a fetus are not unfeeling monsters. When there is a bond, when they have seen the fully-formed baby with their own eyes, it's obvious many will change their minds and keep the baby. But they are still not ready for it. Their financial situation is still terrible. The father of the baby is still absent or whatever situation they were in that made them consider an abortion in the first place. That's the difference.

Abortion is not wrong. Only christian fundamentalists believe that to be the case. In other parts of the world, abortion is as common as is any other medical procedure.

Read carefully, and (hopefully)with an open mind of an educated person to follow this logic. I apologize in advance if the words are too large....

A zygote is simply a clump of cells that given the proper conditions may become a foetus. And the foetus, given proper conditions may become an independent human.... to say abortion is wrong, is to say that to destroy anything that COULD become human is wrong. That would mean, that to cut out some skin on my arm and destroy it, would be wrong --- because those cells can be cloned, or reverted to stem cells and could, under certain condition, become human.....!!!!!!!

Abortion is a medical option, and as such, is between a woman and her physician... Do not put a christian fundamentalist in my doctors office, nor in my bedroom, thank you very much.

It is interesting: We now have ways to transplant a zygote into the male anatomy, and allow it to grow, and with any luck at all, we could get a human baby. (It's complicated, but it can be done..... ) How come Christian men who are anti-abortion aren't out there demanding that their abdomens be implanted with aborted zygotes?????? And it can be done, hon. foetuses have grown to maturity without being in a uterus..... and a zygote, CAN be implanted into a man to grow..... Makes christian fundamentalists looks silly now, and they know it..... many are now "shutting the hell up", because the advances in medicine make them look silly if the "put their money where their mouth is"...... and they know it.

And why at U. S. abortion clinics do I not see men (and women) saying to other women who are going in to have an abortion, "Stop.... I will raise your baby, even if it is a meth baby, or a crack baby....?"

Hmmmmm, were you able to follow this???? Hope so...

Helpful?

1) There is no evidence for a soul.

2) A small collection of cells is not a living, breathing, thinking human being, and it's 'rights' do not come before those of the living, breathing, thinking host.

3) Why abort when you can adopt? Are you people dense or something? Pregnancy is 9 months of hell, during which you may lose your job, miss out on your life and education, suffer serious medical problems, and possibly die. People are having abortions because they don't want to CARRY a child, not because they don't want to CARE for one. Everyone knows that adoption is an option.

Depending on the situation, it isn't wrong. A beating heart doesn't mean something is alive. It takes alot more than that. A fetus is more a parasite than anything else, until it can survive with help outside the mothers womb.

It has nothing at all to do with a soul. Souls don't exist.

I've known some girl's who've had abortions like it was a form of birth control or something. It seemed like they didn't care and had no remorse. Which absolutely bewildered me. Then again I've known a few who have had an abortion because they were in a serious situation where it was the best decision for them and they NEVER EVER would want to relive such deep emotional heartache. Anyhow I believe this is something we all should let GOD alone be the judge over.

Yes, adoption IS the right thing to do. Murder is never the solution.

EDIT:

I just wanted to add that there would be PLENTY of money to help raise these unwanted babies, if they stopped performing abortions and used the abortion money instead, as a fund for the mothers who really were in a bad way financially to get a new start in life; or to help lessen the cost of the adoption fees for the new parents.

everyone has this question and i can understand why, but think of it this way our god jehovah gave us this gift to have children, having a live person growing inside someone, jehovah made this being he holds this life dearly even though it wasnt born yet.He loves each and every one of us if he didnt well we wouldnt be here thats a given. so u can see that every life to god is precious, and aborting a unborn is wrong in jehovahs eyes.

Abortion is legal.
Abortion does not kill a "body". It's tissue. Without the mother it would die anyway.
There are more children in this world than anyone knows what to do with.
