I get your point..
I guess i feel insulted that they feel they have the right to judge me and then tell me I'm evil.
It is in fact up to there God (according to there scriptures).
Not them to judge and then sentience me.
But alot of them do it here in Yahoo Answers,
The cursing, angry and threatening me as evil.
If only they looked at themselves first.. see there behaviour, it dose come across very rude and ignorant.
If anything you would run as fast away from there beleif as possible only because of there bashing.

The concept of hell has been around long before the invention of christianity (I'm a Christian). I forgot exactly which religion first had this feature but trust me it is VERY old. Hell is just a form of negative motivation. You don't want to get punished so you act accordingly. It's basic human interaction. I can't prove that hell exists any more than I can prove it doesn't but if it does I don't want to be there!
oh and i love your little version of hell. it was funny, i like to do stuff like that to make people mad too...lol ^^ and half the people that "warn" you about hell are gonna end up there themselves

I'm not saying that I know it all but the concept of hell is something that even many Christians may have difficulty grasping it. So, in the best way that any human mind can accept, we look upon hell as a place. I will try to describe the concept of heaven and hell to my understanding as a Christian.
The Christian's belief starts with God, who created the heavens and every living creature including man. God is described as light, and the concept of darkness is the concept of "being away from the light". Similarly, the concept of heaven and hell is understood as such: Heaven is the place where God is. Following the same line of reasoning, hell is a place where God isn't, or doesn't exist.
How did the description of Hell come about then? The Christian's faith is ultimately placed on the fact that the Word of God (the Bible) is truth. And Hell is described in the Bible as a place of darkness and of eternal fire. If you follow the line of reasoning mentioned above, we will appreciate that God is light, is life, is comfort, and so on. Similarly, without God there will be no light, no life and no comfort. So basically, hell is not a place that is invented, but is a place or a state that is away from what God essentially is and means.
It is never in a Christian's intention to wish anyone to "burn in hell" but to encourage everyone to be reconciled with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. However, Christians as we are, we are not perfect beings. As some Christians try to share the gospel, they present it in a inaccurate way which in some ways may offend certain people. However, God has revealed himself to man in many ways that if you are willing to discover them, you will find Him.

Marry me, Markster. ;)
All joking aside, I've been struggling with that too. I get so annoyed when they gleefully describe how I'm going to be eviscerated for eternity and when I get upset they say "Why? You don't believe it." Like that makes a difference.
Mostly I'm afraid that these weirdos are going to get tired of waiting for me to die and will take matters in their own hands. They seem crazy enough to be a geniune threat. o_O

God is the creator and He could make things how ever He wanted to. We are mere humans and can be with Him someday or be eternally separated from Him. Its your choice. Play by the rules and get rewarded or play by your own rules and go to hell.

There is a real Hell. No one but God Himself can decide who goes to Hell or not. Not any other person on the face of the earth. You have the right to believe in whatever you want to. For me I believe in Jesus Christ and Heaven and Hell. Are you willing to take the chance that Hell isn't real?
