yes or no? The last time i was here people were trying to tell me that what i knew about quantum physics (and the nature of consciousness) was incorrect. Although i know that their opinions were incorrect, that did not stop them from trying to tell me that what i knew was wrong. I don't mind; they just haven't looked deep enough into what science tells us about the nature of god. Be that as it may, let me as this : " What is god without consciousness? "

As a panthiest, I believe that God is the energy and consciousness which pervades all the universe.
I do not believe in a god which sits outside the universe, judging and micromanaging and answering prayers. A belief in this sort of god leads to all sorts of contradictions and confusions, even religious wars, and is well refuted in websites such as http://www.godisimaginary.com
However, this is an evolving consciousness. Many people are stuck in the older paradigm, fearful that if they ask too many questions or think too much they'll go to hell.

So what came first Devolution or evolution - Chaos or Order - Consciousness or unconsciousness - Seems like the ancients said it the best - they came simultaneously. They are the same - like two sides of a coin. You can not have one without the other. You have to have both to define the each of them.
