i hear so many times ... why are atheists here in this section
please tell me
if they were not here what would you discuss ?
since most here are secure in their beliefs ... speaking to others about their beliefs does not matter ... infact some of you dont even want to hear about others beliefs
so what would you discuss and who with ?

come on admit it ...
you need atheists here ... we all need an opposite , or we become stagnant and learn nothing

why sholud people be afraid of judgment day??
he died to redeem me from my sins, so no matter what i do i am going to be "saved"???
if he died to redeem me form my sins and then i go to hell, is his death in vain???
or is his death just for the ones who anyway (with or without his death) are going to heaven???

I have this annoying coworker who always says "god works in mysterious ways" when referring to favorable situations. Here's the deal, she's the worst back stabber at work, gets in cohoots with all big bosses, lies on her coworkers, and tries to use the strawman argument with the human resources personnel on whomever she chooses. she's really a true delight.

when do you suppose the lightning will strike her down and make her stop ruining people's lives or will she simply have to wait until the end of days or judgment day to get what she deserves?

Also, if she lives to a ripe old age of 80 or 90 and repents on her deathbed is all forgiven by god?

I was just asking because all of us at work were thinking about getting her by the hair and pulling it out until her head swells as big as a watermelon as our patience is running thin.

So most of you say that you don't want to hear it... throwing pearls at swine kind of thing....

Then why do you hang around here if you don't want to hear what YOU KNOW you're gonna be bombarded with it?

Are you here to convince us that there is no God?

Sounds like an inner-outcry for God to me... :)

The stronger you resist, the more God will show his love to you. Keep denying me, I'm blessed for it.

May the God you don't believe exsists show his love to you.

I am from India. I am looking for a community where people on spritiual path live together. A kind of communal living without any biasis of spiritual path. I have heard about such living of diciples of Shree Rajneesh in America later known as Osho. Are any groups available there. I would like to get involved there with my wife.

Matthew 22:37-39 says: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. Worship can be anything where we devote heart, soul, and mind to acknowledgement of God. We can worship during morning exercise, while cleaning our homes, or even when helping others. Our hearts determine whether or not we are worshiping. What are the different ways some of you have worshiped, and why do you feel people limit opportunities to worship?

I mean, a religion that didn't say anything about non-believers of their religion.

I'd have to say Hinduism. Or any of the Dharmic relgions. I'm Russian Orthodox, and I would defienetly have to say that. I'm not super religious.

He calls out my name from the dark and says time to go home.. I say "YES, YES LORD IM COMING HOME" Then God asks " CAN I WALK THE STRIGHT AND NARROW PATH""? At this point I'm on my knees begging God to make my burdens more tolerable. After 10 minutes of arguing with the porclien image of his being. I raise to my feet and thank Jesus for letting me survive once again..
