History has proven that the land really does belong to Israel. The Romans came and destroyed it, and changed the land to Syria Palastine. All of this is documented in stone in Rome n the arch of Titus. I'm just hoping some one will either prove me other wise, or explaine why this belief has come around.

Or does man change them in order to advance his agenda? I, personally, subscribe to the notion that moral law is invented by people and changes it as society needs it.

This is probably more out of morbid curiosity than anything, but earlier today I got two pages of Christians telling me that the tools of my religion (Tarot cards and Ouija boards among others) are demonic in nature.

I was actually a little surprised because I thought we were beyond that sort of bigoted attitude by now. Now I'm wondering just how deep that attitude is. If the tools of witchery are demonic, then do you think witches are evil? If you're a Christian, do you believe that the many verses in the Bible that say a witch / sorceress / magic-user should be put to death?

Given the chance, would you start up the witch hunts and the burning times again?

As you know, whynotaskdon is one of the biggest christian advocates in this Q&A section.

Why does he use the skepticsannotatedbible.com to discredit Islam and Mormons but not christianity?

Skeptics annotated bible is the MOST SKEPTICAL of christianity.

Why, when posed with a sometimes simple question, do many Christians reply with a nonsensical answer that has nothing to do with the question?
ie: A question was asked about the presence of a supreme female deity within religions. Many Christians answered with things that did not begin to answer the question.
Q: Where are the female gods?
A: God is the Father and the Son (man). all others are false and have no power. .
A: There is no other god except for the Lord God who is the creator of Heaven and earth. There is only one God, and his is on his throne made out of Saphire sitting high up in the Heavens. God is spirit, nobody has ever seen God except for the one who cam down from Heaven and went back up again, and that was Jesus Christ the living Son of God.
Questions such as these are obviously not meant to make anyone accept the idea of another god. But simply a question of varied beliefs.
So again, why do many Christians reply with, in the context of the question, nonsense?
