Good question. It is the exact reason we have science.
I love reading some of the answers of the same people that say science has all the answers saying then yet again, why ask?
I believe we were created by God. A creation. The reason Atheism intrigues me is b/c there is no belief. I only have my beliefs.
Interesting isn't it
God Bless

we were created because God had made a plan for us. In the preearthly life there was a plan set out for us. The plan was that men would be sent to earth as a test to see if we would still follow him. After we are resurrected we go to the final judgement where all our sins are brought forth in front of him and Jesus. There are three states of glory, celestial, terrestial, telestial. The good thing is that because Jesus chose to be our saviour and he paid for our sins, we can sincerely repent and be forgiven. Satan initially wanted to be our saviour but he wanted all the glory for himself, so a great war began and God won, of course, sending 1/3 of satans followers with them. He is so miserable that he tempts us and he is the enticer, and wants us to sin so that we can't return with God ever again. If you want to know more go to www.lds.org Don't hesitate!

We don't need an answer for everything. I'm quite comfortable remaining ignorant about things that science and logic just can't explain. Unlike Christians, I won't insert a god into those gaps.

They are trying to justify themselves. They try to prove that God is not perfect and is actually guilty himself of sin. So who is he to judge us. If people would stop trying to justify themselves and learn the lessons the bible tells us time and time again. That God is perfect and sin is despising to him. Thus the reason for the ten commandments and the reason for the flood and destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and the reason for the perfect lamb of God that died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins and thus through faith we are justified. Think about it God our creator became a man lived life perfect, preached his message, healed sick, blind, crippled,. Then was crucified and death could not hold him, he rose from the dead and is sitting at the right hand of the Father.

Because Men want to know .. men has a need to know, especially about his existence and those answers pertaining to God... May because God planted those seeds in his heart to make him stop, think, ponder and ask. God wants all his children, he created every one of us, to be united one day in his Kingdom .. he does not want to lose anyone, and when men asks questions he gets to know God. God is Life, He created Life on Earth, and his creation continues each day.. Amen

ASking questions, and getting correct answers is how we grow. We just have to accept that there are some questions that may not get an immediate definite answer to us to our liking at that time.

Because, some people, maybe unlike yourself, have questions and fear death. Some reassurance never harms anyone, and although it's hard to prove or disprove anything when it comes to religion, it can help people feel more comfortable.
