History has proven that the land really does belong to Israel. The Romans came and destroyed it, and changed the land to Syria Palastine. All of this is documented in stone in Rome n the arch of Titus. I'm just hoping some one will either prove me other wise, or explaine why this belief has come around.

History shows that any land belongs to the people who have the power to keep it.
Like US - it belongs historically to the Indians.

The Land of Israel is holy to the Jewish People. You might want to ask them if they would willingly give it up. Hint: they would answer in the negative.

The Jewish people has lived in the land of Israel for about 3000 years, and only they have ever had a sovereign state there. Even under the years of Byzantine, Arab and Turkish rule, there was a continuous Jewish presence. There has been a Jewish majority in Jerusalem since the 1840s.

After the defeat by the Allies of the Turkish Ottoman Empire, the League of Nations (forerunner of the United Nations) allotted mandates to Britain and France, with responsibility for developing states for the Arabs in Syria, Lebanon and Iraq, and a national home for Jews in Palestine. Thus, these major Arab states owe their origin to the same international acts as those that led to the Jewish state.

The area the Jewish national home was established in was then known as Palestine, and the Jews who settled there were accordingly known as Palestinians. Until 1948, the present Israel Philharmonic was the Palestine Orchestra, the Jerusalem Post the Palestine Post, and so on.

Who cares who lived there 2000 years ago?Are you willing to leave your house this moment if someone came and says that according to an old book that house belongs to him because more than 2000 years ago his ancestors used to live there?I really doubt it...
And if that land belong to Jews than all Americans and Australians should go back to Europe and give the land back to American natives and to Aborigines...

Okay, I'm assuming you live in the US.

How would you feel if all of a sudden the Federal government shows up at your door and says "Sorry man, we're giving this land back to the Indians. It's historically proven to be theirs, so you have to go. We don't care how long you've lived here. It was theirs first, so get out."

Would you leave your home without a fuss?

It's believed that it does not belong to Israel but Palestine becuz Abraham had 2 sons; Ishmael and Israel (Issac). Ishamel was 1st born but to the handmaid not wife and since God told Abrham the land belonged to his seed (meaning with his wife) Ismael (Later palestineian blood line) believe they are entitled.

The land, as all other lands, belong to God! In revelation he will sit his palace on Jeruslaem and dwell there forever.

Well, you can't convince Israel's enemies that the country has a right to exist... all Israel can do is protect its people from its enemies... and that it does very well.

israel belongs to the ppl who built it.

that would be the israelis, not the palestinians. the palestinians dont get to own the wealthy cities the israelis built just because they had a house there. turkey owned palestine, then the british owned it, and then the british decided that the israelis got to own it. since palestine belonged to the british, then it was their pick of who got to govern it next, and they picked the jews.

Way to long to explain ( that it really isn't ours).

But if you can believe it, the Orthodox Jews & Rabbis' rebuke modern Israel. It's the Zionists & U.S.A. that are so pro-Isreal.
