I believe that once a person exercises saving faith in Jesus Christ, he or she is forever in the family of God. God never kicks anyone our of his forever family. A number of Scripture passages support this view. For example, in 1 Corinthians 12:13 we are told that at the moment of salvation the Holy Spirit places us in the body of Christ. Once we are infused into the body of Christ, we are never excised from the body. In fact, Ephesians 1:12 and 4:30 indicate that at the moment of believing in Jesus Christ for salvation, we are permanently "sealed" by the Holy Spirit. At that point, we are God's everlasting property. That seal guarantees that we'll make it to heaven.
Moreover, we read in John 10:28-30 that it is the Father's purpose to keep us secure despite anything that might happen once we have trusted in Christ. Nothing can snatch us out of His hands. God's plans cannot be thwarted (Isaiah 14:24). Further, Romans 8:29-30 portrays an unbroken chain that spans from the predestination of believers to their glorification in heaven.
Another fact we need to keep in mind is that Christ regularly prays for each Christian (Hewbews 7:25). With Jesus interceding for us, we are sucure. (His prayers are always answered!)
Of course, the fact that a believer is secure in his salvation does not mean he is free to sin. If the Christian sins and remains in that sin, Scripture says that God will discipline him or her just as a father disciplines his children (see Hebrews 12:7-11).

The doors of salvation ALWAYS open, and as the parable of the prodical son siggests, the Father is standing watching from on far for the first sign of any child of His returning.
I do suppose that the only instance where God would turn around and say "forget it, u will burn in hell" is when one TOTALLY rejects the Holy Spirit and God in totality, as Christ clearly said "who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit has no forgiveness"...And that is not because it's such a huge sin that it's unforgivable, but because if one rejects the Holy Spirit who works within him to lead him to salvation, how else is he supposed to be saved??
Having said that, if that person turns back and says "Father, I have sinned against you and against heaven, please forgive me by the power and blessing of your Holy Spirit." There is absolutely No Way Known that God can reject that, and He will accept him back with open arms and place the ring of sonship on his finger and accept him back as a beloved Child.
As for your question regarding sinning knowingly, well, sinning is sinning, there is no difference between a big or a small sin. And regardless of how big the sin is, so long as there is TRUE repentance and an intent to drop it and never do it again, God will forgive it if confessed genuinely. Even if one falls in the same sin out of weekness or temptation, God will understand, and He will forgive...SO LONG as there is genuine repentance and the sin is confessed again with an true intent within the person's heart to work as hard as possible to let go of that particular sin. And it is the Grace of the Holy Spirit that will assist that person to overcome such a sin and temptation.
I hope this clarifies things a little for you. God Bless!

Are you asking if a person can lose their salvation once saved?
You might want to read a book written by Charles Stanley called Eternal Security. He answers this question very well.
Is it that you have been saved, and now are backsliding? Worrying what might happen if you should die before making things right with God.
I can't answer your question because I'm not 100% sure if we can lose our salvation, but it is better to be safe than sorry wouldn't you say. We all fall from time to time, but never give up.
I know God never gives up on us if we have been born again. People who have never been saved harden their hearts as they grow older. I have heard that once a person is over twenty their odds of repenting and turning to God grows less and less.
If you are a Christian and have drifted away from God, pray and ask God to renew your Spirit. Ask for forgiveness and get back in to the word.

You can't loose your salvation. Once you're saved, you're a child of God's forever and ever. The most amazing thing is, that salvation is a gift from God, read Ephesians 2:8-9 and the book of Romans, "for by grace are ye saved, thru faith, not of ourselves ,for its a gift from God, not of works, lest any man should boast". Now, God will judge your sins, and if you ask God for forgiveness, and are sincere, He will forgive us, and the only sin that will send you to Hell is not accepting Jesus as your Savior and Lord. Now, I do think that once you're saved, you know better to do things like cheating on your taxes, and I pray that you know to not commit adultery, but God is the God of second chances and his mercies are renewed every morning. God Bless

A forfeit is a punishment for no longer triumphing; you should hand something over in view which you lost, you ought to provide something up or do something unsightly in view which you failed. it is making me think of with regard to the version between 'being stored' and 'the advantages'. we are in a position to be stored yet our advantages could no longer be as super as most of the saints who persisted by way of persecution, as an occasion. Or we are in a position to be stored yet our advantages could no longer be as super because of the fact we've been vulnerable and stumbled and did no longer attain finished Christian adulthood. in keeping with threat, for some, the refining technique did no longer do away with each and all the dross. yet that does no longer advise we've lost the present of salvation. i'm no expert on Calvinism yet i'm conscious there is one among these factor as hyper-Calvinism, and prefer each and every severe types, distorts the actuality. i haven't had time to inspect this precise because of the fact i've got been at artwork, yet whilst your question remains open on Friday, i might opt to revisit this. you have had some super solutions already. warm venture!

You can't lose salvation its IMPOSSIBLE. And its pretty hard trying to lose salvation because you would probably be convicted of what your are doin wrong and eventually go back to god. but also, if some one saved you from something u cant reverse it can you? Think about it.

When you sin, you are supposed to ask God for forgiveness, and try your hardest never to repeat that sin again. In the Lutheran church I was taught that "...he who believes... will be saved..."

As long as you have breath in your body, you can confess your sins to God, after that there is no hope.

They can accept salvation until they die. When a person dies without accepting salvation it is too late.
