Why, when posed with a sometimes simple question, do many Christians reply with a nonsensical answer that has nothing to do with the question?
ie: A question was asked about the presence of a supreme female deity within religions. Many Christians answered with things that did not begin to answer the question.
Q: Where are the female gods?
A: God is the Father and the Son (man). all others are false and have no power. .
A: There is no other god except for the Lord God who is the creator of Heaven and earth. There is only one God, and his is on his throne made out of Saphire sitting high up in the Heavens. God is spirit, nobody has ever seen God except for the one who cam down from Heaven and went back up again, and that was Jesus Christ the living Son of God.
Questions such as these are obviously not meant to make anyone accept the idea of another god. But simply a question of varied beliefs.
So again, why do many Christians reply with, in the context of the question, nonsense?

I was using the female god question as just an example. But I should have clarified what the question was. As I had read it, it was an all encompassing question in regard to religions. I can understand that many Christians are very adamant about their beliefs. But to ignore the fact that there are other many varied belief structures and answer a general question with the mindset of just your own beliefs is to me, nonsense.

Same reason Athiests/Agnostics, Jews, Scientologosts, Muslims and anyone of any other relgion might respond stupidly to a question, specifically when it concerns something as personal to them as their religion- people can be set in their ways, they might not be entirely bright enough to understand the question (or even to understand why such a quesiton might be asked) or might just be feeling defiant today. People can be stoopid, no matter what their religion, race or sexual preference.

WARNING: I might go a little off topic.
I am a Christina and I see your point. I hope this answers your question.
God is a man and a women joined together as one. I know that might sound freakish.
But that is why sex is so sacred. Once a man and a women come together in love they become the closest thing physically, mentally, and spiritually to God. So there are really no sexes to begin with in heaven. What is up is down in heaven. And what is down is up. It is a backwards way of seeing things. Yet some how, at least to me, it makes the most sense. Not to say you or anyone else has to believe me. That is just how I see it. I know you will write me off as a nut. And I would not blame you.
In so many words. The sex of a soul is not the same as we think of it here on earth. And so the same applies to God and those so many angels.
(This is how I have understood it so far. Granted I am 20 and have some growing up to do.)

God is the Father (a normal father is a man!) and His Son Jesus was a man. Therefore there is no female God that is correct. Sure there may be Godesses but you should only follow that Lord our God and King.
Your nonsense is our sense, just like your sense is our nonsense.

To answer your questions, both of them, Christians give a seeming "nonsense answer" because there are no female "gods." God is not a plural. He is the only one of his kind, and he is male(even the Hindu trinity is personified as male.) We Christians answer this question the best we can, and most Christians aren't prepared to answer this sort of question to anyones satisfaction(despite St. Paul's instruction to be ready. Brothers, I'm talking to you now.), Christians simply answer the question in the way that makes the most sense to them, not the asker.

I didn't get a chance to see your first question but what you are asking is where are the female gods? This is just my opinion but I think God has the attributes of both male and female since he created Adam and Eve so differently yet so exquisitely wonderful that they were to become one flesh when becoming man and wife.

Sometimes you don't know everything about a certain subject. My awnser to that question is that if your a christian you believe in one God, therefore there are no other "Gods". But i do believe that women have the role of being able to give life, while men have the power of the priesthood. That may not awnser your female God question but i'm not a genious!

Why do so many non-Christians ask nonsensical questions?
This has nothing to do with Christianity, but is instead a cleverly disguised attack on the personal choices of Christians to believe in something larger than themselves.
Read my answers. I am most happy to give you a direct and definitive answer, loathe though you may be to accept or even receive it.

1) there are no female gods
2) Any belief in anything other than the Risen Son is wasted time, energy and space.
3) Contextually, we cannot give an answer that will satisfy you because we KNOW without doubts that ther ARE no other gods. Why should we pretend otherwise?

it is surely tremendously plenty all mainstream Christians. it might make so plenty greater sense to questions which denominations *do no longer* like evolution. they could have the loudest voice in this internet site, yet interior the real international, they seem to be a minority. additionally, the Catholic Church provides no directive on evolution and Creationism. Catholics are loose to have faith what they choose as long because of the fact the draw the non secular signifigance from books like Genesis.

There are no female God's.
God is a spirit and has no need of procreation.
When you stop and realise it, woman uses a seed from man to build on. She doesn't originate it.
As far as "other christians" missconceptions are very prominant and many are outspoken about errors.
