Q: Why did we go to Afganistan?
A: To take out the Islamic terror camps

Q: Why are we worried about little Islamic camps, its not the soviet army or chinese army, right?
A: Cause we are worried about Muslims who come into our country or live in our country, who committ acts of terror.

So, let me get this straight, we spend trillions of dollars trying to prevent Islamic terror camps, when we could spend almost nothing keeping them out and taking away their rights in America.

Why isnt this an option? I mean, Muslims isnt this what Muslims seek to exploit, our quasi-religious view of liberties? I am a huge advocate of freedom and civili liberties and human rights, but as Muslims show quite clearly, theres a limit.

There is a price tag here you know, not just govt spending. We only need to prevent Muslims from boarding planes, not your grandma! We all know this...all of us. Yet you give up your freedom to protect people who dont believe in freedom. Insanity. Pure insantiy

Islam/any religion but is WILLING to change his/her mind? In other words; who is a hater who would like to dispel his hatred? I'm just wondering how much of a difference I make when I try to correct misconceptions. Why exactly did Jesus' death save humanity? Also, how is it that Jesus suffered so badly? He, of all people, must have KNOWN for sure that there was a God and a heaven for him to go to, and that he was reserved a place there, seeing as he was both fully human AND fully divine. SO how could he have been afraid of death? He knew God wouldn't judge him badly, because he WAS GodAlso, so he got nailed to a cross and asphyxiated. Which I imagine was pretty painful, but why did his suffering mean more than that of countless other innocent people who have suffered abominable torture in order to protect people they love? Those people REALLY sacrifice something, because they aren't sure of God, or heaven, or that they have a place there. They're the ones who really make a sacrifice. So why worship Jesus and God for this gesture when it was a hell of a lot easier for them than so many others?

1. it is easy for someone who is not in that situation to say "believe in god" and the problem's gonna be solved. I am lesbian, and I don't intend to live alone because of a book, and I CAN'T change my sexuality, men are not interesting for me, even though I tried to change!

2. and that is the actual question:

Why, do you think "god" would call homosexuality "unnatural" as "he" does in the bible? Doesn't the word "natural" come from "nature"? Then, look at all the diversity in nature! There ARE lesbians and gay animals in nature, etc etc!!! Natural comes from Nature, and to say it's not "natural" just isn't right, with all my respect for your beliefs, like I said for you heterosexuals it's easy...

China essentially does that right now, and of course, Islamic countries essentially do that for ALL RELIGIONS OTHER THAN ISLAM. Saudi Arabia makes it law, the rest do the same with custom.

Why not ban Christianity in America? You would have to amend the consitution, something like:

The government may ban or censure any religion whereby the religious doctrines advocate annoying preaching against unbelievers with present tense scriptural language, and the religion creates a sense of national identity.

Courts of law would then flesh in the methodology for determining whether this standard is met.

So "all religion" wouldnt be effected, only annoying forms. Imagine all the money we would save on **** prevention? We wouldnt even have to tell Christians to sod off anymore because the whole reason for belief in God is to proactively irritate sane people. If we ban Christians, they cant get us here anymore cause they wont be here!

I have been in college for four years and I felt like I never had a true friend. I have searched within myself and even blamed myself to the point where I would give all I had to make sure that I was being a friend to someone else. You could guess it didn't work. Now I am lonely and it's turining into depression. Nothing serious but everyday is routine. I do things by myself and it's not fun. I feel like I have a sad spirit inside me that I can't shake. Why do pesky scientists keep finding mountains of evidence to support an old earth?

Today's Reuters article shows that humans were migrating 35,000 years ago.......Is this a "conspiracy" against christianity or do you think that maybe, just maybe these scientists are merely reporting the facts?

I am very serious and curious BTW.

What do you believe is your purpose? Human beings? This universe? If we evolved and were not created . . . why are we evolving? For what? I know I will get the normal responses and insults . . .but if someone whose belief system is Atheism could please answer . . . .the others I ignore. I am really just curious.

You know as believers in God we believe we were created for a purpose. Is Atheism like Christianity . . . .someone believed something else so they created another "denomination" of Atheism? Or are the perimeters pretty similar?

Sadly, I think people find the messanger worse than the dead bloody "thing", the person who took the photograph, the person who killed it and the person who had it killed.

I don't fall into any religion, but I have a good life. i am surrounded by good people, I have food, shelter, running water. i am loved, and can love. All this despite the fact I denounce all religions, I mock all versions of God (except my own) and nothing bad really happens to me. Sure I've had my heart broken, the Canucks didn't make the playoffs last year, I work at jobs I hate, but on a scale of 1-10 my life is a 9. Why? Oh wait nevermind I figured it out, becuase i stay positive, not because a God lets me.
