There is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit; They are all seperate but together in perfect harmony. God wanted to share this perfect harmony with someone so He created humans.

This is even harder than the question, "Does god exist?" It is tremendously more difficult than "Why is there anything?" I take it as one of those unanswerable questions that people have long wanted to know the answers to. About the best that can be done is to make some guesses.

The real problem with these kinds of questions is that many people answer them as if they KNOW. Better just to plead ignorance.

It says in the Bible that a clay pot should not ask it's creator why it is being made a pot. What does a pot know? We saw that a bowl was the best purpose for the clay, so we did it--even if the clay doesn't like it. The same goes for us. We are clay, and God shapes us everyday to how he wants us to be. God is of such a higher mind than we are, it is folly to question ANYTHING he does. We function in a four-dimensional world...how do we know what goes on in the spiritual realm?? God CREATED the dimensions, so do you think that his thinking and decisions are based on our little four-dimensional world?? I don't think so. The best thing to say to God is: You know what is best. I don't know why You created me, but it was for a purpose - and know I must discover what that purpose is.

Don't try and find the reason why He created you...but go and try to find what he created you for. Questions lead to doubt, and doubting leads to unbelief. This is not a good thing!

has he done for us as human creatures to express his love, his unselfish interest in us

So really the greatest expression of Jehovah’s(God) love would have to be more than just the gift of life itself.

there are many other evidences of Jehovah’s love throughout creation. Certainly Jehovah has manifested his love by making life so interesting and enjoyable.

has provided us with so many delicious foods and in such marvelous variety. Our foods come in many delightful colors and shapes, as well as with so many subtle flavors and aromas. In affluent countries we can enjoy our meals for days on end with hardly ever eating the same kind of food twice.

No matter where man lives on this earth he finds beauty,(romans 1:20)

But theres something more to this world that we live.....a hope that god wants us all to have...(john 17:3) life everlasting...

what more can we ask for?

God made human beings from single celled organisms to have a place where souls can learn things that take more time learning while you are in heaven, to grow, and be better every day.

Hi Seth T,

Actually, God didn't have to make us. He made us because He wanted to. He wasn't lonely, because there were already 3 people in the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). He simply created people because He wanted to express His love to us.

I love what I read in a Max Lucado book once...it was saying that God not only created you, but He also created the world around you....in color, sight, sound, taste, textures, etc. God didn't have to make the sky a beautiful shade of blue. He didn't have to make cats fur soft or make a bird sing. He didn't have to make the grass green or the oceans blue. He didn't have to make food taste good or make sunsets steal your breath away. He made everything so beautiful and colorful and wonderfully good because He is expressing His love to you through it. :)

God made you because He loves you. Your life is important to Him. Be blessed. :)

Human beings are created to know God. He instilled in us a thirst that will not be satisfied until we reach out to Him for companionship and love. Paul wrote in Philippians 3:8 (NAS), "More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ."
We were created to have an intimate, loving relationship with the Lord? and to bring Him glory. Paying respect with our gifts and good works is a natural extension of that design. But our primary responsibility is to spend time with Him.

I believe because God wanted to see himself in his creation and experience every possibility, his thoughts are independant like living beings and came to be because they could.
Ancient texts say God wanted to see himself so he created a mirror, and that's us. It's not that he wanted servants or creatures to obey, he needed to give us free will to see himself

Good question.

If you're a good Christian ask Jesus to see God and ask him yourself. It's a perk you get as a Christian.

It, however, seems like he wanted to create a being that thinks, walks, speaks and even creates that is not consciously judgemental or prejudice with willful intent.

When we blew it, he threw us out of the controlled environment, but let us continue living, but on our own terms and in our own ways, with the ability to be prejudiced and judgemental.

God is life and life wants to make life. Why do some people want children?

God created us to fellowship with him. God has given each of us the free will to choose whom we will fellowship with. It appears that most choose eternal separation (damnation) instead of returning to their creator by way of the cross.
