Would it be a lot different? Going to church would probably be very different since Catholics and Baptists structure their services differently.
The basics can be found in the Apostle's and Nicene Creeds:

Catholics believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that he is also God as part of the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), that he died for our sins and was resurrected by the power of God in triumph over death and evil.
If you are truly curious, find a Catholic Church that has what is called an Inquiry program. This is a series that introduces people to the Catholic Church and its beliefs, no strings attached. It is also the first step, for those who choose, to converting.

Having been a catholic and now a baptist, here are the major differences that I see:
1) Baptists pray to God... don't need saints, angels or Mary to intervene. God is all powerful, why go to the "b team" for your needs"
2) Baptists believe in a 1:1/personal relationship with God. You don't need a pope, priests and bishops to intercede for you. Just talk to Him yourself.
3) You are saved by the fact that Jesus died on the cross for your sins. Just acknowledge you've been a sinner and that you accept Jesus' sacrifice. badda-bing badda boom you are saved.
I am sure this could spark a debate on both sides, but those where some of the major points that led to my "switching sides", although we all still pray to the same God. Remember, these were my reasons, and by no means the only differences.

Like Baptists, and other Christians, they hold the same basic tenet that Jesus was the son of God, died on the cross for our sins, was resurrected, blah, blah, blah. On the other hand, they don't believe a person must be completely submersed in water to be baptized. They place a lot of emphasis on Mary, the mother of Jesus, whereas Baptists (protestants) do not. It's just a bunch of technicalities.

Hoo boy talk about a question that would have a lengthy answer. Okay... let me put it to you like this... research... EWTN is a decent online place to study conservative Catholicism, or you could go to a Catholic bookstore and hunt down their books written for people just like you. You'll want a "basic" Catechism... not the big thick version put out by the Magisterium (yet)... but one geared towards a new Catholic. EWTN will be a great online bookhunt source too... they have their very own online store.
Hope this helps better than anything I could write in here.

What is most important here is what you believe, remember that it is almost two thousand years since Christ founded the Catholic Church and it is still strong in all its teaching, it is the church that the world looks up to for moral teachings and theological matters.
Matthew 16:18
And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
Jesus is the truth, the way and the life!
"Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One"

Don't put your faith in any church. The true church that God seeks is in your heart, not the building that have a cross hanging above the alter or statues or even candles.
Get to know thy God by understanding His word in the Bible and once you know the love of God, you will able to know if R.C. preaches the word of our Lord. Read the new testament first all the way to acts of the Apostles and then read the old testament and finally read Revelation.

The Catholic church is a non-Christian cult that teachjes dogma that condradicts God's Word.
The Catholic church teaches that Mary lived a sinless life, but God's Word says ALL have sinned, and that includes Mary.
