Mainly for the religionists...just wondering what reasons you suppose most atheists decide to turn their back on religion. Are we weak? Stupid? Evil? Sent by God to test your faith?

i'm not really a religionist, more of a spiritualist.
i find that some atheists are spiritual, but they haven't found a religion that doesn't sound like a load of illogical impossible crap & they don't really care to take those religious things as metaphorical when so many follow religious writings like a reference manual.
i think monotheists are sent here to test my patience ;)
