Do you?

Why do you think we take time out of our time to tell you about Jesus and what he's done for us?

Seriously?

You think we want your money for churches? Control?

Don't you know that the hypocrites aren't fooling God?

Do you know why we're not convinced?

I'm not trying to be rude. Do you know why?

Because you believe the over exaggerated stories of a rabbi who had a good message, but his message was turned into a profit maker by early churches who realized that by accepting money for forgiveness they could get rich. So they told people that Jesus is your saviour and through them you could confess your sins (and tithe at the same time conviently enough) and be fine.

Is that why?

Grow up...amny of us used to be just like you......there is not god therefore you can't fool that imaginary fool in the clouds.

I might add that to be a hypocrite is to be one who talks the talk, but does not walk the walk. We am an atheist.....how am I a hypocrite to your lord?

I do understand. I know that a lot of Christians are sincere people. I did not quit believing because of hypocrites. I quit believing when one day I sat down and started looking at what I really thought was true and what I was forcing myself to believe. I came to the conclusion that none of it was really true. It was really liberating!

I dont hate religious people. I dont feel like its my job to convince them they are wrong. I feel badly when I see fellow atheists act in a cruel manner to anyone who is religious. Please dont think we are all jack a**es and I wont think you all are! ok? Peace!

Since there is no concrete evidence that Jesus ever existed, I wouldn't know why you talk about him. Do you want my money? Maybe not. Do you want my quiet obedience? Most Definitely!

I don't know if Jesus ever existed any more than Odysseus did.

I spent about sixteen years in church, so yeah, I know exactly why.

If you're following Jesus, you might also take his advice about not casting pearls before swine.
