God is everywhere therefore you can worship HIM anywhere, but as a community of worshipers, there is church.
Jesus is the truth, the way and the life!
"Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One"

Being blunt, and probably completely failing to avoid offence, because they're pig-ignorant.
I have very little time for people who think they are "good" members of their religion simply because they spend two hours a week in a particular building and congratulating themselves on how pious they are.
Get out there, and make a difference to the world, no matter how small. A single act to aid your fellow man, or to make the world a better place, is worth more than a lifetime of "worship" in a church.
I know I'm going to get thumbs-down from people about this, but I don't care. If you think you are more worthy in God's eyes than I am, then that's fine, I don't care. But back that self-righteousness up with something concrete.

See, now THIS is the kind of question that this forum needs more of.
To answer it, I'll point out that for several hundred years, Christian leaders have worked hard to create the impression that you need a church, a priest, a baptism or communion, or a holy book, in order to have a fulfilling spiritual life. Christian churches tend to be against the physical, against the material, and even against nature. Thus the attitude of many Christians that spirituality and the rest of one's life can or should be kept separate.
I would suggest that Christians try adopting a more Pagan (gasp!) attitude, in the sense that Pagans see the divine in everything... themselves, other people, the earth beneath your feet, even roadside litter and "calling cards" from neighborhood dogs. I'm completely serious here. When you recognize the presence of god (whatever god you believe in) in everything, it is easier to live your life as one constant act of worship.
I am not a Christian, though, so maybe you guys see it differently.

I don't think that worship is limited to singing and praising, but it definitely makes it more enjoyable. The thing about believing in Christ is creating community -- to know that you are not alone in your faith. The first Christians worshipped in secret in fear thet they would be persecuted. Now that we have the freedom to gather together, let's do it!!
We shouldn't hide what is in our hearts -- Taste and see the goodness of the Lord... let us together sing God's praise. REJOICE!!

Because many have been taught this. You are correct, worship is a posture of the heart and may or may not involve the lips.

I couldn't agree with you more. A lot of people limit their worship because they don't want to go to church every Sunday, they don't want to give their money to the church, they don't want to help in their community, etc.

I dont think most Christians believe it is limited to singing or praising in church but I think that is when they feel it the most.
