The theory is that the Earth moves through "Ages" (or ecliptics), just as humans do. Each Age lasts between 2000 & 2500 years. The Ages the Earth moves through parallel the standard zodiac, but backwards, meaning we're moving OUT of the Age of Pisces and INTO the Age of Aquarius, despite that on the standard wheel of the Zodiac, Pisces comes *after* Aquarius.
In the same way that sun signs can influence people, Ages can supposedly influence the entire culture. So, for example, humanity became more agrarian during the Age of Taurus, then more warlike during the Age of Aries, then more spiritual during the Age of Pisces (during which several major religions, notably Christianity and Islam, gained great power). Now we are in the "cusp" or overlap between the Age of Pisces and the Age of Aquarius.

when the moon is in the seventh house and jupiter aligns with mars, then fate will rule the planet and love will steer the stars -- this is the dawning of the age of aquarius, the age of aquarius. harmony and understand, sysmpathy and love abounding......
or something like that.... it was the begining of the sexual revolution and the whole make love not war generation!
i'm an aquarian and it means nothing more then a quirky, cathcy song....

it doesnt mean anything in particular for Aquarians ... it was for the world
a new day , a new age
a new spirituality
it did come and is still happening
and there will be another age soon

the age of aquarius is an era of spirituality, harmony, peace, etc. People think we are on the verge of this "new age". It will be led by the satan, the antichrist and the false prophet.
