Apparently, God respects everybody's free will including Satan's. The only exception is when you displease him and he either drowns you, turns you into salt or condemns you to eternity in Hell (which, after all, was really your own choice).
A real head scratcher ... huh ???

Satan has no power to destroy God's creation. What Satan has is the ability to persaude man to destroy God's creation because in the hands of man is given the gift of God the power to preserve or destroy the world he lives in. The Curse of God is seen in the wars between men of nations. Satan could only cater to the hatred between people.

Satan doesn't destroy, it's the free will of ignorant humans. Satan couldn't care less about the material world, it's the spiritual world he wishes to tear apart.

You have a choice in following Satan or not.
I choose not too. I choose to follow Gods word and to worship him. Satan has no power over me. God is more powerful. You have free will to follow who you want. Just don't whinge about the choices you make.

Are you familiar with the term - allowed enough rope to hang yourself? That also applies with Satan, and man; however, is allowed to choose is he not?

Free will. Not that Satan had free will as a birthright, but he chose to be bad, and if people use their free will to follow him, then God isn't going to intervene. If people choose to be evil instead of good, then we're all stuck dealing with it, because free will is given to everyone as part of being human.
It's up to us to use our free will to curb evil. Not God. We can use the good in us, but good itself won't stop the force of evil in the world--it only works when we apply it.

God is more powerful, but Satan is more clever. He is, after all, the king of deception.
