I was in a shop before Christmas that was selling a 'Jesus On Wheels' figure. It made me stop and think.

Due to studys the action figure is a bad idea becuse its bad influance on christians I read in a book that chrisitans dont like this becuse they say That it Offends god and His son Jesus
this is the quote "the Lord Jesus is To Powerful to Be casted in such useless matreials"

to be honest with you i agree becuse most action figures today are for little kids not really a adult thing (except from collectors)
But when you cast a jesus ones..dont expect a good reception..
Chistians will Protest against this action figure for sure.

so its a bad idea and also If This action figure Look some way off or odd the chistians will go crazy :l

I think whether it a good idea or bad idea it really up to you to decide. I personally think it a bad idea beacause action figure are for kids. I think Jesus Christ is the lord and shouldn't be made into action figure.

Rather a funny idea isn't it? But not what I would call 'evil'. My nephew was given one by a friend at work as a christmas present. Both my nephew and myself are christian beleivers and we did not see nay thing evil about it. It was rather neat and definately amusing.

But I do not believe it to be an insult to Christ. It does make people think of him so that can't be bad. And even God has a sense of humour.

And vivien t I love your priest. He sounds like a very funny man.

They need a Dungeons & Dragons type of game that follows the Bible. With figures for every major character and game boards for various books and sections of the Bible.

I want a Shamgar action figure that comes with an oxgoad.

Brilliant! You could do a whole range like Barbie or action man:
Malibu Jesus - comes with board shorts and a tan
Dancing Princess Jesus - complete with tutu and tiara
Scuba Jesus....
The list is endless....

Xtians have been playing with images of christ and his buddies for centuries, this just sort of brings it up to date!
You can get action figures of all kinds of imaginary characters, for Marvel comics to lord of the rings, so why should xtians be left out?

I bought one for a priest friend for Christmas one year; it ended up being featured on his blog along with the other daft gifts we've given him over the years: A nunzilla sparking robot, a huddled yogi figure and a few other silly things. It was pay back for the fertility god statue he gave us one year.

Yeh, but every action figure needs a nemesis. Can you imagine all the kids running round with little Satan dolls?
