I don't get it, Jesus was a Jew, right?
But then how do Jewish people don't believe that their Savior has come? And why do Catholic/Christian people believe in a person of another religion? They believe that their religion is the only "true" one but they believe in somebody of another religion? So confused, please help!
P.S. I'm no expert on religion so I could be wrong. I'm actually atheist but my whole family is either Christian or Catholic and the subject of religion and God comes up a lot so I would really like to know!
Thanxs!

If so, then where did they come from? Did they come from a being that implanted them into our moral framework? Or, Did they evolve over time in society as things we either acceptead or not accepted as right or wrong in our overall behavior patterns?

...then why not come to church and find out for yourself? There are friendly Christian congregations almost everywhere!

Church is about worshipping God, not judging other people. We all sin, so no one is "better" than anyone else. But by God's awesome love and Jesus' resurrection, anyone can be forgiven and healed.

A church fellowship is also about building strong communities, connecting with neighbors, and making new friends. In addition to regular Saturday or Sunday worship and children's programs, most churches offer extra worship services, Bible-study groups, community service, volunteer opportunities, outreach programs, coffee-and-chat groups, and other activities throughout the week.

Think church isn't for you? Remember, to gain the real treasures--peace, joy, freedom, happiness, fulfillment, and eternal life--we must go where they can be found, and seek them patiently and persistently.

Won't you join us in worship this week?

I mean...What's the point in religion, Why do people waste so much of their lives talking, preeching and even 'thinking' about it? It doesn't make one ounce of sense to me.

supposing that most souls will probably go to hell and being that God definately has seemed to give Satan the upper hand--Satan can tempt--his temptations are far more powerful, which is why he usually "wins" the souls that go to hell, correct?
God seems to have granted him free reign on earth, by all religious accounts.
And if God made Hell, is Satan "burning" in it now? Or will he one day in the future? Why doesn't God make Satan burn in hell now instead of having the upper hand in the soul game on earth?

The whole thing doesn't make any sense, '
and I think Christians really have to concede that this is the part where they start really pulling crap out of thin air and make sh&t up as they go along,
that's regarding all the fancifull stories about heaven and hell, which they like to twist and stretch out verses of the bible to where it's really nonbiblical and makes no sense,
it just, again, makes it sound like you are making crap up.
none of you seem in agreement.

For more than 30,000 years, the human race co-existed with Nature & other life on this planet. Then some self-important 'Priest' decided to invent organised religion. They do NOT know the answers! A grove of trees or a hilltop, is a better & saner place to calm your soul.
All Organised Religion is a trap for the soul. Go take a walk in a forest, preferably alone or with someone you trust, and LISTEN!
My grandmother was born in a Romany caravan sometime in 1878. Gran was illiterate & had no Birth Certificate, but she knew things about life that have been either forgotten or rejected today.

The Quran was written by a committee commissioned by the 3rd Caliph Uthman so he could retain power.

Also original Qurans were destroyed by Uthman with the exception (allegedly) of the original one owned by Muhammad's wife Umar. This original version (approved by Muhammad) was hidden until World War I when British troops found it in a mosque in Turkey.

The British allegedly offered to give it to the Saudis for oil concessions and their promise to make it public.

Since disclosure of the original Umar Quran would show the falsehoods injected by Uthman, the Saudis (who benefit greatly from the Uthman version) refused both conditions set forth by the Brits.

when any that know how to read also know that the first woman was Lilith, Adam's first wife. You remember Lilith, she was the one that refused to bow down to Adam since she was created equally to him. She felt that way because they were both made from the same dirt, there was no rib in that story, so there was no reason to feel obligated to Adam for playing such a vital role in her creation.

Isn't it curious that she was the first one that the misoginistic editors of the bible got rid of?
