...then why not come to church and find out for yourself? There are friendly Christian congregations almost everywhere!
Church is about worshipping God, not judging other people. We all sin, so no one is "better" than anyone else. But by God's awesome love and Jesus' resurrection, anyone can be forgiven and healed.
A church fellowship is also about building strong communities, connecting with neighbors, and making new friends. In addition to regular Saturday or Sunday worship and children's programs, most churches offer extra worship services, Bible-study groups, community service, volunteer opportunities, outreach programs, coffee-and-chat groups, and other activities throughout the week.
Think church isn't for you? Remember, to gain the real treasures--peace, joy, freedom, happiness, fulfillment, and eternal life--we must go where they can be found, and seek them patiently and persistently.
Won't you join us in worship this week?

NKI, please keep in mind that it's nearly impossible for a person to call someone else a hypocrite without being one himself. That's why Jesus taught us not to condemn others ("Let him who is without sin cast the first stone..."), but to struggle against sin within ourselves.

Yeah, I grew up in the church...my dad works at church and my mom is the head of the women's organization. There's was a lot of gossip, a lot of stuck up people, and a lot of fake people. Oh, and the married pastor of our first church put pornographic pictures on my mom's car. What a great thing to be a part of!
Yes, I know there's the bad and then there's the good. Point is is that I can find peace, joy, freedom, happiness, fulfillment, and eternity (our souls are energy, energy goes somewhere) without being associated with a religion or a group.

How about when you "Christians" stop judging other people.
I have peace, joy, freedom, happiness, and fulfillment in my life right now. And, about your whole eternal life thing, it doesn't exist. You die then after some time the bugs get ya.
Oh and that book that you all think is so high and mighty, is the worlds largest and oldest collection of fairy tales and I keep my fairy tales to the Disney kind.

I already know the truth about Christianity. I spent most of my life in one church or another, then when I read the bible, understood it and obeyed it all you know what brok loos. i was persecuted by so called Christians. They attacked me, made fun of me and ridiculed the bible, although they were decieved into thinking they ridiculed man's doctrine, but when it comes straight out of the bible it is from God suppossedly. I say suppossedly now because I left christianity and no longer beleive the bible. I am pagan, wica is my religion.

Sorry, nine years of 7th Day Adventist propaganda cured me of that. I have been free for more than 30 years now. If there is a God, the one good thing he did was get me away from that. My life has been so much better as a result!

Instead of desperately trying to advertise your religion, why dont you try to change the minds of fundamentals who hate "fa.gs", "****.ers" etc. etc. and THEN try to approach non religious people?
"Church is about worshipping God, not judging other people". Ys in theory. I dont see that though, so please as a Christian try to do something about it, because sooner or later you will pay the price for the actions of your "fellow" Christians.

Yes, give it a try! Don't diss what you haven't experienced. Or don't judge someone until you've walked a mile in his shoes. If nothing else it will be educational and give you a reference point when talking to a Christian.

Hypocrisy is the one sin that's unforgivable in my book. Christianity is full of it (hypocrisy and whatever else comes to mind).

Been there, done that. Most of the people seem nice enough, but the message is still self-righteous and hypocritical.

Who did you think you were going to win over with that? With atheists and pagans who make it a point to debate and argue, who did you think was going to say, "wow, he's right, I should attend church and maybe I'll feel the presense of God."
