supposing that most souls will probably go to hell and being that God definately has seemed to give Satan the upper hand--Satan can tempt--his temptations are far more powerful, which is why he usually "wins" the souls that go to hell, correct?
God seems to have granted him free reign on earth, by all religious accounts.
And if God made Hell, is Satan "burning" in it now? Or will he one day in the future? Why doesn't God make Satan burn in hell now instead of having the upper hand in the soul game on earth?

The whole thing doesn't make any sense, '
and I think Christians really have to concede that this is the part where they start really pulling crap out of thin air and make sh&t up as they go along,
that's regarding all the fancifull stories about heaven and hell, which they like to twist and stretch out verses of the bible to where it's really nonbiblical and makes no sense,
it just, again, makes it sound like you are making crap up.
none of you seem in agreement.

It doesn't.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

I sense a great deal of anger in you and maybe more?

Let us first answer the main question. Satan does not win anything. He does not rule in Hell. He is merely the first occupant. The souls he touches will forever be departed from God.

I can see how it seems Satan has an upper hand, but in reality God is in control and will remain so. But, those that fall away from God are those that wish to. None who call upon God will fall.

Most Bible references to Hell is Sheol and it is a common enough thread especially in the NT. Most of the quotes that I could bring up mention weeping and gnashing of teeth. These are all images that conjure up the worst in ones imaginations and are to give a person pause and think "is anything worth even this base torment?"

You are right everything we "make up" is based on what we have read and understood. But, it is safe to say we cannot comprehend the wonder of Heaven nor the torment of Hell. The "fancifully" stories are to help one get an idea. Christ himself did the same for the same reason. Imagine being a fish that was snatched out of the water and shown around and then sent back to his kind. Can you imagine how alien it all must really seem? Eternity is going to be more so.

Now for the last item. Why does God allow this evil to exhist? That is an uncomfortable one because at first glance it seems He is prolonging the suffering, but in reality He is allowing all of us time to find him and come to him. Christians call this the fullness of time. Christ's first coming was such a time and so will his second.

I can back this up with scripture, but I did not get the feeling that was your wish.

God kicked Satan out of heaven because he tried to wage war. He gave him the earth to reign. He is not burning in hell but he will someday with all the souls who don't get saved. The bible says that Satan walks the Earth seeking whom he can devour. It doesn't make sense to you because, the bible also says God 's thoughts are not our thoughts and God's ways are not our ways. You cant come down on Christians for their beliefs , if you don't stand for something , you will fall for anything.Wouldn't you rather die and be saved and find out there is no heaven than to die and not be saved and find out that there is.

Well, Satan (Before Christ returns) Will Be in the Bottomless Pit, Then When comes back it says that Satan will be released for a short season, During that season Many will worship him And they will obtain the mark of the Beast. They that Worshipped Him Rejected Christ. Satan was always an enemy of God( Read Genesis Chapters 2 and 3) Satan decieved many nations and took away the people God loved and Died For, Plus He was Greedy there is a Chapter in the Bible Where Satan always wants more, "I will Ascend above the Most high" I I I I I , He never stops, GREED. So, I think thats Why Satan is Burning in The lake of Fire.

Satan does not send anyone to hell you choose to go there by rejecting God's salvation of Christ ! Satan is there because he rebelled against God ! satan can't cause you to do anything you choose to do something

Jam 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
Jam 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Jam 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

1Co 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

1Ti 5:15 For some are already turned aside after Satan.

satan was a fallen angel from heaven.his temporary punishment was to rome the earth until god comes on the day of judgement when satan will also be judged.god has not given him the upper hand.the bible says rejoice in your time of suffering b/c it is the trying of your faith.satan comes after us b/c god loves us.satan can't harm god so he comes after us.satan is immoral and was created in god's power.he has abilities or powers just as other angels but not strong enough to come up against the powers of god.satan wins in some circumstances b/c of us. because we do not fully equip ourselfs with the weapons and the power that god has given us over satan. leaving us weak and powerless against whatever the enemy sends our way.how can we overcome these temptations if we don't know any scriptures to use against satan, if we don't trust god,if we are not walking in faith, if we don't pray, basicly if we don't have on the whole armor of god.(ephesians 6:10).that is the purpose of the holy spirit. To help you and convict you of your sin so you know when its wrong or right. we are in the end times and the world is becoming a evil place but everone wont be saved.we have free will.people have the choice.honestly I don't think us christains are taking on this responsibility to spread that the gospel like god instructed.how can people come out of sin if the don't know god.or know how to.people need to be educated so that they can stop being trapped by satan.Im not sure if satan is burning in hell just yet.god doesn't put satan in hell now because you have to understand whatever satan does to attempt to destroy us he has to get permission from god first. god does allow some things so that we can grow.remember the as his children we have to go through and suffer sometimes just as he did. satans not just gonna be enjoying hell and the souls there in the end. he will be recieving his punishment as well.I think you just need to study the bible for yourself to show thy self approve just as the bible says.

For any religion to succeed, it needs the 'followers' to feel that they will be rewarded if they follow the rules, and because that is not enough for some people, they went and created a 'boogie man' dressed in red.

So you not only have the carrot of heaven, you have a nasty red hot stick to warn you not forget to make the choice to follow the religions advice.

Satan, is just the early Christians name for Saturn, the chief god in Roman 'pagan' times. Saturn (Latin: Saturnus) was a major Roman diety of agriculture and harvest. He was identified in classical antiquity with the Greek deity Cronus, and the mythologies of the two gods are commonly mixed.

A great feast called Saturnalia was held during the winter months around the time of the winter solstice. It was originally only one day long, taking place on December 17, but later lasted one week. During Saturnalia, roles of master and slave were reversed, moral restrictions lessened, and the rules of etiquette ignored. It is thought that the festivals of Saturnalia and Lupercalia were the roots of the carnival season.

To get rid of the pagan rites, the Christians tried to ban them, then when that failed, they moved their own version of events onto the pagan rituals, and ridiculed the pagan worshipers as 'devil worshipers'.

First things first, God always has the upper hand. Eventhough Satan's temptations may seem ever strong, they can not overcome the power of God.

When God created man he created us in his image. He created us with emotions, the ability to reason and rationalize, and the ability to choose. He also created us with a concience and a soul a body and a spirit.

With that being said, we as humans always have the right to choose anything. Anything that happens to us or because of us is all up to us. eventhough God has the power to know what we will choose. He still lets us make the choice. For example, lets say that you are hungry and I know that you are hungry. I offer you food. I know that you will take the food and that is why I offered it, but it is still your choice to take it. I know that you will take it because you are hungry and want food.

When Satan tempts us he uses the words of God in a twisted manner, he makes the sins of the world seem all nice and good. In donig this he makes it seem that when we do something wrong it is not really wrong. He cany coats everything and only shows you the entrance to everything and not the exit. He makes the door look pleasing to the eye but he does not show you the contents of the house.

Do you get me?

Christians never at one point in time 'made up' stuff about God. He inspired people to write about him and his laws.

With that being said, we as humans only let Satan seem to win. He is only out there to seek company to burn with him throughout eternity. He just does not want to be lonely and he also wants to get back at God for casting him out of heaven. Yes, that is right.

Satan was first created as an angel of music for God. He was the highest angel possible in heaven (before the world was created). His power got to his head and he tried to overthrow God, his creator. In response God created hell as a punishment for Lucifer (Satan). When God created man and Satan got them to sin, God used hell as an eternal punishment for man as well as satan.

Hope this was helpful. Be blessed.
