Its on Sky Movies at the moment, starring ugly Mandy Moore and co. Is it a fair representation of how the US thinks about religion, pregnancy and homosexuality?

Apparently, christian groups didn't like it because it shows the hypocrisy of the church. Very accurate in my opinion

I cant speak for the US since Im from Australia, but as a Christian, it didnt make me angry, it made me feel sad.
- Sad because hypocrits do exist, but sad also because I would hate to think that just because there are people who BADLY misrepresent Christianity (and Christ) that others may think that thats what Christianity is about.

I thought the movie was good. it was good because it plays off of how the steriotipical Jesus freaks act. Not all Christians are like that but there is alot of truth behind the steriotype. I've meet alot of Christians like that. The movie was trying to speak to Christian and Non-Christian and send a bigger message. acceptance regardles of Faith.

Never have seen it and don't get Sky Movies, but you're watching it so something about it must have sparked your interest.

Not how the US thinks, but conservative Republicans. I thought that was a very good movie. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

i liked it. good parody. not very accurate though. unless maybe you're in a catholic school.
