Jerusalem is in Palestine. It's called al-Quds in Arabic. It's the third holiest city in Islam.

Jerusalem is the capital city of Israel ( a middle eastern country surrounded by Saudi Arabia and Jordan in the South, Syria towards its North East, Lebabnon on the North and Meditarranean sea on the west).

Jerusalem is the capitol of the Jewish state. It has been a city since long before it was inhabited by Jews. Abraham was blessed by the King of Salem (Melchizadek) long before the Jews took the land under Joshua.

It also remained unconquered until King David.

Oh, and it's divided into FOUR parts, the Jewish sector, the muslim sector, the Christian sector and the Armenian sector.
