How do Christians feel about marking their bodies? I'm thinking aobut getting a tattoo to symbolize my love for Christianity, but I am unsure if Jesus or God would approve.

When he was Jewish, it would have been forbidden to him, as the Torah prohibits tattooing.

However, he saw fit--or at least the apostles tell us so--to abrogate many Torah laws.

Thus, Jesus might also have permitted tattooing in his later years.

According to his teachings it's about what's in your heart anyway. Many people are pretentious so the truth will find you out eventually.Setting an example for others and then faltering when they look up to you is just another test anyway. We learn from the mistakes of others which should make us stronger not weaker.Sometimes I think it's just as simple as being able to forgive yourself. That's where the idea of born again and again and again christians is popular. I have heard from one source that piercings are worse.Again I say it's what's in your heart. When you die it's what you can take with you and not what you leave behind.

verify in Leviticus. i imagine actual there's a difficulty with marking on your body technically. yet that's previous testment (previously Jesus) regulation. Jesus loves all and sundry and forgives all issues and that i imagine is in contact with even if you adore others as you would your self, not what you do for your body mainly, yet of route i can not talk for him! Do what's on your heart! And in case you've already got a tatoo, i recognize that on your modern-day state, Jesus might want to not care about that interior the least!

Christians are free to get tattoos if they wish. Just don't get anything that costs a ton of money or is really stupid. Don't get anything in kanji because it never says what you think it does. You could think you're walking around with a tatt that says "God's strength" but instead it says "cat wontons."

The Bible is quite clear about not making a tatoo on your body. Take care of your God given body and don't mark it up with bad images. Lev. 19:28

Jesus does not care if you have 1,000,000 tattoos, He only cares that your his child. Besides it says in the bible that god has a tattoo,
somewhere in Isaiah chapter 60.
