In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.

He has sent down to thee the Book containing the truth and fulfilling that which precedes it; and He has sent down the Torah and the Gospel before this, as a guidance to the people; and He has sent down the Discrimination.

Surely, nothing in the earth or in the heavens is hidden from God.

He it is who fashions you in the wombs as He wills; there is none worthy of worship but He, the Mighty, the Wise.

And remember when the angels said, 'O Mary, God has chosen thee and purified thee and chosen thee above all women of the time.'

'O Mary, be obedient to thy Lord and prostrate thyself and worship the one God with those who worship Him.'

This is of the tidings of things unseen which We reveal to thee. And thou wast not with them when they cast their arrows, as to which of them should be the guardian of Mary, nor wast thou with them when they disputed with one another.

When the angels said, 'O Mary, God gives thee glad tidings of a son through a Word from Him; his name shall be the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, honoured in this world and in the next, and of those who are granted nearness to God;

'And he shall speak to the people in the cradle, and when of middle age, and he shall be of the righteous.

She said, 'My Lord, how shall I have a son, when no man has touched me? He said, 'Such is the way of God. He creates what He pleases. When He decrees a thing, He says to it, 'Be,' and it is;'

"And He will teach him the Book and the Wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel;

And will send him as a Messenger to the Children of Israel with the Message, 'I come to you with a Sign from your Lord, which is, that I will fashion out for you a creation out of clay after the manner of a bird; then I will breath into it a new spirit and it will become a soaring being by the command of Allah; and I will heal the night-blind and the leprous, and I will quicken the dead, by the command of god; and I will announce to you what you will eat and what you will store up in your houses. Surely, therein is a Sign for you, if you are believers.

'And I come fulfilling that which is before me, namely, the Torah; and to allow you some of that which was forbidden unto you, and I come to you with a Sign from your Lord; so fear Allah and obey me;'

'Surely, God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship him this is the right path.'"

And when Jesus perceived their disbelief, he said, 'Who will be my helpers in the cause of Allah?' The disciples answered, 'We are the helpers of God. We have believed in God. And bear thou witness that we are obedient;'

'Our Lord, we believe in that which thou hast sent down and we follow this Messenger. So write us down among those who bear witness.'

And Jesus's enemies planned and Allah also planned, and God is the Best of Planners.

Remember the time when God said, 'O Jesus, I will cause thee to die a natural death and will raise thee to Myself, and will clear thee of the charges of those who disbelieve, and will exalt those who follow thee above those who disbelieve, until the Day of Resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, and I will judge between you concerning that wherein you differ.'

'Then as for those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe punishment in this world and in the next, and they shall have no helpers;'

'And as for those who believe and do good works, He will give them their full rewards. And God loves not the wrongdoers.'

And when Jesus came with clear proofs, he said, 'Truly, I have come to you with wisdom, and to make clear to you some of that about which you differ. So fear God and obey me.

That is what We recite unto thee of the Signs and the Reminder, full of Wisdom.

Surely, the case of Jesus with God is like the case of Adam. He created him out of dust, then he said to him, "Be', and he was.

This is the truth from thy Lord, so be thou not of those who doubt.

'Our Lord, let not our hearts become perverse after Thou hast guided us, and bestow on us mercy from Thyself; surely Thou art the Great Bestower;

'Our Lord, Thou wilt certainly assemble mankind together on the Day about which there is no doubt; surely, Allah never fails in His promise

And verily We gave Moses the Book and caused Messengers to follow in his footsteps after him; and to Jesus, son of Mary, We gave manifest Signs, and strengthened him with the Spirit of Holiness. Will you, then, every time a Messenger comes to you with what you yourselves desire not, behave arrogantly and treat some as liars and slay others?

Say ye, 'We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Abraham and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob and his children, and what was given to Moses and Jesus, and what was given to all other Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them; and to Him we submit ourselves.'

We don't chose our environment, where or how we are born, the people around us, our mind...anything. So how can we have freewill if we did not chose our life? How can we have freewill to make sin if we cannot choose anything else?

Last week, man and woman came at my house to tell me about christanity and I asked them do you eat beef? They replied yes. And I said why? If you do then you are certainly not spritual enough to propogate your religion. Cow is sacred animal, so are other animals too. Does the christanity teach you to kill animals for your self ? CAn you not follow vegetarian diet to save animals? Would you like if someone cut you in the machine for food? Probably not. Any christian takers?

What is Satan besides a metaphor for our infatuation with the five senses, power, lust, greed, etc.???

I don't think you have to perform "Satanic Rituals" in order to be completely under Satan's boot.

I think most of us are completely helpless when it comes to obeying our perverse minds. Anyone who puts money, sex, ego, posessions, social status, etc. as a priority are practicing Satanists.

And that includes me, and in all likelihood, YOU.

All we have is God's grace to save us from our own downward tendencies. . .left on our own, we'd run smiling to hell.

Question for all those who believe all unbelievers will burn in Hell forever.
God is described as all powerful, all knowing, eternal and all-encompassing, the Alpha and the Omega.
Given all this, why is this being so ticked off by people who don't believe in Him and willing to make them suffer for all eternity? Makes Him sound kind of petty to me.

To effect a confusion of ideas is an old scheme of the devil. Not to understand clearly and precisely is generally the source of the intellectual error. In time of schism and heresy, to cloud and distort the proper sense of words is a fruitful artifice of Satan, and it is as easy to lay snares for the intellectually proud and for the innocent. Every heresy in the Church bears testimony to Satan’s success in deceiving the human intellect by obscuring and perverting the meaning of words. Arianism was a battle of words and owed its long-continued success to its verbal chicanery. Pelagianism and Jansenism showed the same characteristic, and today Liberalism is as cunning and obscure as any of its heretical predecessors. (Liberalism Is A Sin 55)

On December 8, 1864, Pope Pius IX published The Syllabus of Errors. In short he was condemning “liberalism.” The popes' condemnation and concern about “liberalism” is a valid one. The following distinction about “liberalism” is made in a

I am adding a page to my website http://www.pathsofdevotion.com/islam.html which will be all about hijabs and Muslim clothing.

I'd like to include some quotes from actual Muslim ladies who wear hijabs, or niqabs, about how they feel wearing their attire. I won't put down anyone's name or anything. Your quote will be totally anonymous.

Here are the questions I have:

1. Have you always worn a hijab?
2. If not, how did you feel when you started to wear one? What benefits did you notice?
3. Do you wear a niqab? If so, how do you feel wearing a niqab?
4. How do you feel wearing your hijab?
5. Is it your own choice to wear your hijab?
6. Any other comments.

Thanks!

So, the evolution theory's got evidence backing it up. Bones and left overs of cavemen and ****. So if evolution's a fact, and the very first humans to live were Adam and Eve, then really they weren't humans but fish instead. I mean, right?

All atheists do this.
Why? are you fearful of something?
Psalm 4:1 "The fool hath said in his heart,There is no God,They
are corrupt, they have done abomidalble works, there is none that
does good." This verse proves atheists are fools and wicked.
Feel free to send hate mail,it proves this fact.

I grew up Presbyterian/Methodist with the usual Mainline theology and morality. And as happens to so many who don't find anything of spiritual substance on the Mainline I went looking for other faiths. For most of my teens and early 20s I studied Orthodox Judaism. Within the last year I've come back to Christ and am very happy about my decision.

BUT...

I go to a conservative Protestant church currently and I like it for the most part. It's good theology and good people. But I am quite attracted to the theology, liturgy, and majesty of Greek Orthodoxy and even, to a lesser degree, the Catholic Church. But I also really like Protestant thought and I feel that deep down I am a conservative Protestant--deeply imbued with Luther and Calvin. But I'm still drawn to Orthodoxy.

Any advice?
