Since he is coming to judge all on earth will I escape judgement? I mean technically I will be off the earth.

well for one thing Jesus doesn't come back to judge us he come back to get the ones that are saved....judgment is in heaven and since you probably aren't saved you want even realize he's been here til you land and some of the people you new are gone and all hell has broken out on earth because the ones that are left are going to realize that we Christians were right and you are going to hell after you live on earth for 7 more years with the anti-christ , then you are judged in front of God at the Great White thrown judgment were you will be cast into hell because you didn't believe in Jesus and get saved

when the rapture happens all who believe in Jesus will be taken to heaven even if you are in a hot air balloon. when the rapture occurs, I imagine it will be very much like the "left behind" series of books portrayed it.. Gods people will be taken to heaven no matter where you are or what you are doing..
