Would you be willing to give your life so someone could keep on being a "Christian or Muslim?"

I don't understand the context of your question. Whether you are a non believer or not why would someone have to give there life. Are you asking about a countries freedoms and rights to be free in there society to believe what they want. Are you asking therefore if someone is willing to fight for your freedom to be a non believer?

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

He has sent down to thee the Book containing the truth and fulfilling that which precedes it; and He has sent down the Torah and the Gospel before this, as a guidance to the people; and He has sent down the Discrimination.

Surely, those who deny the Signs of Allah, shall have a severe punishment. And Allah is Mighty, Lord of retribution.

Surely, nothing in the earth or in the heavens is hidden from Allah.

He it is who fashions you in the wombs as He wills; there is none worthy of worship but He, the Mighty, the Wise.

He it is who has sent down to thee the Book; in it there are verses that are firm and decisive in meaning - they are the basis of the Book - and there are others that are susceptible of different interpretations. But those in whose hearts is perversity pursue such thereof as are susceptible of different interpretations, seeking to cause discord and seeking wrong interpretations of it. And none knows its right interpretation except Allah and those who are firmly grounded in knowledge; they say, 'We believe in it; the whole is from our Lord.' - And none take heed except those gifted with understanding -

I'm a Hindu, and I support the rights of all people to believe as they wish. This includes Atheists.

If I gave up my life for you (because Christ did the same for me), I don't think you could continue life unchanged (as a nonbeliever). Such sacrificial and great love would really like... um, "shake you up" you know? Like you'll prolly get thinking and stuff and really reconsider...

Muslim - No. There is no compulsion in religion. According to Islam, no one should be forced to believe in something.

Nobody forces you to believe.
Therefore there is no need for anybody to give his life.
