Well I am not 100 percent sure the jesus allowed mary to scrub his little stinky feet but if so then I really don't think it was a big deal that he hung out with a so called prostitute in mary. But don't get me wrong it is bad and immoral but jesus was a great man and like any great person they don't discriminate our treat other people different just because they do bad things. It's like saying you wouldn't want to talk to a person who does drugs our does something immoral. You still treat them as human beings but you don't support what they do.

Its both but when Jesus met Mary Magdeline she was about to be stone and the pharisees were saying since she did what she did she should be stone but Jesus said he that is without sin cast the first stone meaning the one that was pure and free from sin had the right to do so but since none of them except for Jesus fit that category no one did anything. Jesus forgave her of her sins and told her not to do that no more. At the moment her sins were washed and she decided to live for God. She was renewed . Jesus loves us all no matter what we and will always forgive us and let us have another chance. But we are not supposed to frustrate his grace.

Prostitution isn't bad and immoral. Only people who judge think this. In the bible judging a person is a sin. Oops...
Edit: Let me put it simple. Society created prostitution. If prostitution is bad and immoral, then so is society as a whole.

He was setting the example of hate the sin, not the person. He allowed her to wash his feet for several reasons. She was expressing her sorrow for her wrongdoing, and he was demonstrating forgiveness by allowing her to touch him. In that culture, the sinful or "unclean", could not be touched by a proper Jew, especially a leader of their religion, or that person would become "unclean". It was a major declaration to her and everyone present.
It actually had very little to do specifically with prostitution, but everything to do with His love and mercy and what he expects of his people.

Mary Magdalene was not a prostitute. That's just silly. And yes, prostitution is very wrong. It is wrong for the man and wrong for the woman. I see women not as objects for personal pleasure. Rather, they are unique human beings created by God and as such have dignity. Protstitution undermines that.

I think it's not great, but I think illicit prostitution is worse for society. I think it should be legalized.
