AMISH>Ontario, Canada that are known for their plain dress and limited use of modern devices such as automobiles and electricity. The Amish separate themselves from mainstream society for religious reasons: they do not join the military, they draw no Social Security, nor do they accept any form of financial assistance from the government, and many avoid insurance. Most speak a German dialect known as Pennsylvania Dutch (or Pennsylvania German) at home and in church services, and learn English in school. The Amish are divided into separate fellowships consisting of geographical districts or congregations. Each district is fully independent and has its own Ordnung, or set of unwritten rules. This article primarily discusses the conservative Old Order Amish fellowships that observe strict regulations on dress, behavior, and the use of technology. There are many New Order Amish and Beachy Amish groups that use electricity and automobiles, but still consider themselves Amish.
MENNONITES: The dress code has many reasonsî behind it. Like the hair covering the women have to wear. They have to wear this because of 1 Corinthians 2. This says that women who pray with their head uncovered dishonor their heads and god. They take a lot of scripture literally. Here are some other parts of dress that they have to follow. First of all there are two parts of the Mennonites and the way they dress. They are the conservative and the liberal. For instance, the band in the front of the hair covering showed how strict or liberal you were. If the band was wide you were more conservative. If it was smaller you were more liberal. If you wore black stockings you were more conservative. If you wore tan stockings you were more liberal, and if you wore stockings without seams in them you were very liberal. If girls part their hair in the middle you were more conservative, and if you parted it on the side you were more liberal. Now for the men. They wore what were called plain suits. They had no lapels and had buttons all the way down the middle of the jacket. Then if you wanted to wear a tie you could wear a bow tie, but no long tie. That was too worldly. They wore no jewelry and no makeup also.
A lot of time relationships in Mennonite families are more caring and at the same time reserved. The parents are very calm, passive, and there is no voice raising. They are not very affectionate though. There is no I love youî, hugging, kissing, etc.

They both wear very modest clothing, but I think many Amish groups (like the Old Order Amish) are stricter than the Mennonites in regards to what is acceptable.

If this is about modesty, why do adult men not placed on it? Are adult men now to not be modest? in the journey that your women human beings favor to cover themselves to not be molested, your way of existence is warped, your adult men are ill, your little ones raised incorrect. a lady must be able to stroll down the line bare and in no way be molested. in case you excuse molestation, in any form, why not excuse all of it? Blame the sufferer: She change into dressed incorrect, she went down the incorrect alley, she change into in a carpark on my own: DISGUSTING. Edit: A way of existence that could want to arise with the concept basically seeing a lady might want to incite a guy to rape her is a ill way of existence, sorry if that offends. you spot, righteous adult men, of all and no religions, does not rape a lady because they don't look to be slathering animals, yet sons and fathers. in case you teach your little ones they're actually not something yet a equipment of instincts, why worry giving them faith in any respect, because you're merely going to practice them to kill even as they disagree... for sure, the middle East has no wars, so for sure they have were given this wrapped.
