Christians do it all the time, because they can repent. That's their "get out of hell free" card.

There's nothing wrong with sinning, they just don't like people who sin but don't follow up with repenting.

I imagine they all have a subscription to Repenthouse magazine.

The ten commandments are there to show us that we are not perfect ! the comandments are very simple but we still break them every day of our lives.

Jam 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Thus we need a saivour to cleanse us from sin, as God is a Holy God & cannot bear sin, thats why we are seperated from Him

We grieve the Holy ghost and can not receive blessings of different natures. There are spiritual laws that exsist and take affect when we sin. Ask for forgivness and do not repeat the sin.
I know it is not always as easy as it is written or is it?
My Holy Bible says that Jesus came to fulfill the law not to change it. The Ten Commandments do matter.

I don't follow the 10 commandments; I have trouble with the arrogant one that says only worship God. As I do not believe God can exist so I find it rather difficult to comply. As for the rest of the commandments, it would suit me better if I just followed the law of this country, rather than take the advice of a book which also promotes gang rape and murder. God also seems very preoccupied with sadistic annihilation of thousands of people (including women and babies) who do not believe in him. Charming!

The Ten Commandments don't really apply to us anymore. Since Jesus was crucified, the old laws did not bind us as they once did. Dont get me wrong, the Ten Commandments are very good to try to follow.

This is why:

12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”[f]
14 Blessed are those who do His commandments,[g] that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 But[h] outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ (Matthew 7:21-23)

Jesus taught us the "Spiritual" Essence of the law. Which was, if you had just the desire to do something it was the same as doing it. And if you break the law in its weakest point, you've broke the whole of the law.

The Spiritual Essence of the law, was to show mankind just how sinfully, sinful we are. For the Law was impossible for one to keep.

The Purpose and Nature of the Law was to lead mankind to Calvary. And No Further

The ten commandments were for the people before Christ. After Christ died, even committing one of those crimes are forgiveable if you accept Jesus into your heart, and believe that he died for your sins and arose. It is still good to follow the ten commandments. I think our laws today were based on them but we all lie. And God knew that. That is why he sent his only son to calvary to die in our place.

The Ten are the basics of God's Word andWill for mankind.... but... they are not binding on those who do not submit to the authority of The Author of them... those not of God are not bound by His Law... they are free to get away with whatever they can under man's law...God dose concider breaking his law a sin... For those who are sbmissive to Him, their sin dbet has been paid... There is debate among those of The True Christian Faith as to what happens if one ends this mortal life with unrepented sin... I personaly feel it will result is fewer rewards(jewels n the crown each receives who enters heave).

It is ot sin the keeps any one from Heaven. And it is not Good deeds that earn any one entry into Heaven. For those who are not bound by God's law, those who reject Him, it is the rejection that will keep them for entering Heaven. Not specific sins... When Christ took the sins of the world into himself on The Cross He paid the sin debt of all of mankind... Those who do not accept this and continue reject God... bu continuing to willingly sin and not repent... will, ultimatly, be rejected by God and will be eternaly seperated from Him.

I accept email questions on this and other basics of TheTrue Christian Faith.

Maybe the maker of the Ten Commandments will "abuse" us by giving us what we'd truly deserve. Hmmm. Now that's a thought. A scarey one, but . . . a serious one. I hope that settles your "curiosity". God Bless you.
