According to religion, its a sin to be a researcher in the first place. "People arent being cured by doctors, but by god" LOL
So placebo or not, the self-contradicting religion will always find a sin somewhere.

I believe that the subjects are told that they may receive the actual drug or a placebo. No, they are not lying. It is important for researchers to use placebos to be able to compare that with the results of the real drug.
