Not everyone is Christian. Because the "bible" says so is not a valid answer. The bible was translated from an ancient text and thus is imperfect in translation. Besides that, I'm sick of my own personal beliefs being trampled on by a bunch of people who claim to be "above" me in some way because of God's enlightenment too. Well MY God enlightened me and I believe in my religion, but I don't go around forcing other people to consider it. I'm not knocking Christianity, however I believe the practice of forcing your morals upon others is wrong. Does this make me a bad person?

If Jesus is God then why on Earth would the Devil try to tempt Him? And why would He pray to Himself?

I am refering not only to hell but everything God does seems somewhat egotistical. He created us to worship him, he alone can judge us, he can take us away at will and he chooses wheter we go to heaven and or hell and while the whole earth has prayed and worshipped him for thousands of years, he chooses not to even once allow us to truly be at peace by just coming on down here showing himself and putting us outta our misery. Some would say he did that with Jesus but thats not what I mean. IF he were here we wouldnt not question it because he would make it so, but all we have is one way faith.....we beleive in him blindly or else face his wrath? Why can't he give us what we need? Proof of his existance. I fear just asking this question but it is out there now.

It has also been said we have lost our morals, and that we are more like dogs getting up with fleas and passing them on like it's a norm. Like in language, with all the curse words. I know we can convey messages without cursing right? But it is a down feeling and that is very brutal and certainly not uplifting for vocabulary or spirituality as well. It also has been stated that the permiscuity has been so rampid that the love and romance is being tossed aside for just the thrill, with the Viagra and condoms there is no reason to worry about pregnancies, (birth control medicines) so they can just go to bed with anyone and move on like rubber dummies? What is your take on all of this?

Why are some christians claiming Jesus was not God incarnate? John 1:1 clearly states In the beginning was the Word (Jesus) and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God. If Jesus is your Lord, why are you claiming He is not? I am confused. In another question people are reffering to Jesus as an angel in the old testament. Jesus is NOT an angel, He's God in the flesh, He is immanuel "God with us"

I find the concept of spirit free from the bonds of oppression from some superior a much more appealing idea than the commonly accepted god-created spirit. I don't like the idea of a god who plays the witness, judge, and jury after this spirit is done inhabiting a body for the fate of this 'spirit', when it is the human mind the spirit was inhabiting that gathers evidence, and makes a decision.

Personally, I would rather cease to exist and live in this eternal freedom than serve some god for eternity, who just happens to exist as some all-powerful being for no reason or cause.

They sure seem to be. This is from their website:

"In Scientology no one is asked to accept anything as belief or on faith. That which is true for you is what you have observed to be true. An individual discovers for himself that Scientology works by personally applying its principles and observing or experiencing results."

Ive got something to ponder on. Lets call religion X to be the most right religion in the world. Why is that, that only a group of ppl in this world are borned under that religion? Is God being unfair? Then ppl of the religion X may claim that God is trying to test the rest. The rest has to pass the test by believing in that religion X. Why is this God of religion X so unfair? Given, everyone are equal during birth(unless you believe in karma, which most religions don't), its really unfair when some ppl alone are given the straight ticket to go heaven at birth itself. About converting to the religion X: If ppl of this religion X claim their God to be the truest, it is this God of religion X that wanted me to be an aethist or believer of another religion, so who are these mere humans, believers of religion X to change their own God's will? Think bout it, come with a conclusion...Does God exist? If he does, you think he gives a damn bout religions created down in mother earth?Thx.Nesh

I can define my soul as follows.

I gained weight over the holidays. To take it off I have to keep my calories at around 1000 a day. I always have a sweet tooth at night. My brain says feed me ice cream. My soul or my consciousness says NO! My willpower is my soul.

If I don't eat a lot of fruit and veggies during the day and keep food in my system, my brain will want to shut down my metabolism because it thinks that I am going to starve. I can fool my brain by eating certain foods that will make my brain think other wise, like grapefruit, and it will increase my metabolism. My brain is my body. My will and my consciousness is my soul.
