because they are merely driven by their natural needs? why did god endow us with good will? sounds like an evil trick to me. i should go live like an ape, and then maybe i will go to heaven.

Of course they do. There is a special gate just outside heaven, where all animals wait till their loved ones come to get them. It is a happy place, no sick or neglected animals, all happy but all missing some one close to them. Every day, the other animals see a tail wag extra hard and one of them runs to meet the stranger coming towards them. I love that thought. I will have a menagerie to meet me.

God didn't endow us with good will. If that was truth there would be no war or death. We're just as savage as animals; so the question to ask is do all humans go to heaven. there is no rhyme or reason none of use know what the true answer to life after death is. We all just claim some sort of faith and try our best to know what we're talking about. heaven or hell...ha thats a joke how can you name something that is unnameable.

Every church I've ever been to said no, animals do not go to heaven because animals have no souls. Of course, I grew up in a rural area where farming was a large part of the economy, so its very likely that the church leaders said that to appease guilt in the followers about raising animals to be killed. Apparently its not murder if you don't have a soul.

In Hinduism & Islam it is said the goats and other animals those are sacrificed for the religious purposes will get a a place in the heaven...But nothing is mentioned about those are slaughtered in the slaughtering houses...

Animals will not be resurected in heaven as humans are so live like an ape now die like an ape and you will stay dead. If I need an ape in heaven God will make a new one for me.

Some religions do not believe that animals go to heaven, instead they go to Rainbow Bridge and wait for their owners to get there. I know in my heart all of my babies will be with me in heaven, after all, heaven is what you make of it. :o)
