Religion & Spirituality - 1 January 2007

Both had senates, both gave continuous raves about being under attack. Both sent armies and emessaries to threaten, punish and bribe(economic add-like the money Turkey knocked back instead of allowing usa military launching pads against Iraq)
Both adopted a fundermentalist Christian religion.
Both claimed to be civilized. Both thought they where simply the best, both killed|kill in the millions, both had\have the edge with military tec.
Both stripped\strip the enviroment for all they can make with no reguard for the future.
Whats the difference, dispite the P.R they both seem about the same model of the same ruthless war and economic machine.

Did you know that during the old days in Arabia there were existence Jewish princes, jewish armies and Jewish castles and fort that is willing to do anything to die for the sake of Judaism.

Did you know that after the destruction of the second temple, about 20,000 of Jeiwsh priests of Cohenites descendants fled to the land of the Ishmaelites ?

Did you know that there used to be a jewish King in Yemen who used to massacre a lot of 400,000 Christians in Najran by burning them alive inside the ditch ?

Funny right, We have been thinking the jews are innocent and weak people that have been oppressed throughout history while we fail to find other sources that Jews in Arabia were great rulers ,artisans and soldiers .

In Leviticus 11 God, the creator of all things, clearly gives the rules his people are to live by. He specifically states that swine are unclean and shall not be eaten by his people. This directive is clear. It is obeyed by observant Jews as well as Muslims.

God demanded a covenant from his people in at least four separate areas of the bible and the Koran. All males are to be circumcised at 8 days of age in a ritual if they are strong enough to undertake the procedure. In the New Testament, a book largely written after the death of Jesus by the apostles, the Mosaic laws were cancelled or modified. The direct connection with God was severed with the introduction of the concept of God having a son, something which most people of the day found ridiculous.

Jesus ate no pork and was circumcised. Is that not good enough for today's self righteous and judgemental Christians or do they have to go around wagging their index finger and threatening eternal damnation for everybody else?

I am a Christian, but find it hard to understand how rude some of them can be, or it is just the Yanks(American)I go to ask a question to another group who are not Christians, and I think my questions are very straight forward, and I get some Christian who thinks that they are so smart when I was not even asking them anything. So Christians do other so called Christians annoy you? Jesus could not stand the Hypocrites of his day, and certainly does not stand them today. I do not to church because there is a lot of them around. You might say I am judging, but I am just speaking how I feel,and I am not lying about it either. Liars will not enter Heaven. I love Jesus but I do not have to go church to prove that as just because you go to church does not mean that you are saved.some Christians are very nice, it is the hypocrites I cannot stand, the ones that think people should bow down to them. How do you nice Christians, and yes only the nice ones, react when you come across them?
