I sure hope i get 10 points for this.

The big bang was caused by a gas explosion in a lab. A biologist has been eating bean soup and as you can imagine. Things started expanding and another biologist lit off a burner near the rear of the first biologist and then came the big bang. It was short lived due to the lack of original material and something coming from nothing. After all we all know you can't get order from disorder, any more then you can get something from nothing.
Because it would violate the laws of known physics. And the laws of matter itself. More over the Big bang would not actually prove how the universe came to be. As even a explosion has to have elements to produce the explosion. These are normal in all explosions, time, force, heat, reaction and rate of reaction all have to be present. In the fact that the universe is made up of left handed and right handed systems and the fact that there are many many systems that have there own laws of operation the big bang has to be considered a joke. Because a explosion such as the big bang theory will not allow for the vaseness or difference in the known universe. More over the problem with the Big Bang has actually made it a joke in the scient world so why promote a theory that evey one is now denouncing in abundance.

Actually, I believe in G-d and the Big Bang theory. It has to do with black holes and quantum physics but I don't think the existance of a Creator and the Big Bang Theory are mutually exclusive ideas. The Rabbis have a great explanation for this. I see there is also a good posting by someone explaining this with the Qu'uran. A book I'd love to read.

The explosion of a primeval atom. Georges Lemaître

Although I don't believe this is an acid test for religious/atheist. One can still believe in god and in the big bang.

Hydrogen and helium converged under a great deal of reverse polarity of the electrically charged atoms that constricted after the vapourized mass expanded under the geo-thermal combustion that was caused by the sudden vortex left when the gaseous mixture imploded.

Big Bang1,2,3,or 4? I've rented all of them. I'd say what caused it is the knowledge that sex sells and the fact that these women needed money for college and were willing to put out on camera for it, anyway if you're 18, I recommend checking them out.

Well, basically, there was this little dot, right? And the dot went bang and the bang expanded. Energy formed into matter, matter cooled, matter lived, the amoeba to fish, to fish to fowl, to fowl to frog, to frog to mammal, the mammal to monkey, to monkey to man, amo amas amat, quid pro quo, memento mori, ad infinitum, sprinkle on a little bit of grated cheese and leave under the grill till Doomsday. *I personally like this answer*

Duffmanhb: Good question.
Starr: Since you have such a mind, where did the gasses and dust come from? Just wondering.
Nemesis: Ditto in reverse.

The universe continues to exapand. One day it will start contracting until everything is compressed into a tight ball. Then it will explode again and continue to expand.

Waltinaw, we must have some comsistency here. You believe that the material for the explosion couldn't just exist but you ecpect us to believe something as complex and powerful as a creator can?
