[027:054] And (remember) Lût (Lot)! When he said to his people. Do you commit Al-Fâhishah (evil, great sin, every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse, sodomy) while you see (one another doing evil without any screen)?"

[027:055] "Do you practise your lusts on men instead of women? Nay, but you are a people who behave senselessly."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(V.27:54) i.e. the town of Sodom in Palestine - the place where the Dead Sea is now.

Explanation

Lut and His People

God tells us about His servant and Messenger Lut, peace be upon him, and how he warned his people of God's punishment for committing an act of immorality which no human ever committed before them -- intercourse with males instead of females. This is a major sin, whereby men are satisfied with men and women are with women (i.e., homosexuality). Lut said:

(Do you commit immoral sins while you see) meaning, `while you see one another, and you practice every kind of evil in your meetings.'

(Do you practice your lusts on men instead of women Nay, but you are a people who behave senselessly.) means, `you do not know anything of what is natural or what is prescribed by God.' This is like the Ayah:

[أَتَأْتُونَ الذُّكْرَانَ مِنَ الْعَـلَمِينَ - وَتَذَرُونَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ مِّنْ أَزْوَجِكُمْ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ عَادُونَ ]

(Go you in unto the males of mankind, and leave those whom God has created for you to be your wives Nay, you are a trespassing people!) (26:165-166)

(There was no other answer given by his people except that they said: "Drive out the family of Lut from your city. Verily, these are men who want to be clean and pure!'') means, `they feel embarrassed because of the deeds you are doing, and because you approve of your actions, so expel them from among yourselves, for they are not fit to live among you in your city.' So, the people resolved to do that, and God destroyed them, and a similar end awaits the disbelievers. God says:

(So, We saved him and his family, except his wife. We destined her to be of those who remained behind.) meaning, she was one of those who were destroyed, with her people, because she was a helper to what they did and she approved of their evil deeds. She told them about the guests of Lut so that they could come to them. She did not do the evil deeds herself, which was because of the honor of the Lut and not because of any honor on her part.

(And We rained down on them a rain.) means; stones of Sijjil, in a well-arranged manner one after another. Marked from your Lord; and they are not ever far from the evildoers. God said:

(So, evil was the rain of those who were warned.) meaning, those against whom proof was established and whom the warning reached, but they went against the Messenger and denied him, and resolved to drive him out from among them.

(59. Say : "Praise and thanks be to God, and peace be on His servants whom He has chosen! Is God better, or what they ascribe as partners'') (60. Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth, and sends down for you water from the sky, whereby We cause to grow wonderful gardens full of beauty and delight It is not in your ability to cause the growth of their trees. Is there any god with God Nay, but they are a people who ascribe equals!)

Don't need to agree or disagree with others at all on this subject.
God's Word stands alone just fine without the help of man holding it up.
Scripture states it to be against the law of God. Why? For a couple of reasons, the first being that when you take a mate who is the same sex as you, then you can kiss the circle of life goodbye.
Secondly, God created these bodies and he quite pleased with all of his creation - all you have to do is look at a male and a female person naked, and you can see how perfectly the whole thing fits together, and how naturally it works, when put together.
God did that so even the dullest knife in the drawer could figure it out.
Third, the health laws of God are there as a guide, because God made these bodies and knows what will make them ill.
Now, 100 years ago, someone may have challenged this point;
however, today, i think HIV has made its point - you are at a higher risk of Aids if you are within the homosexual community.

Look, God doesn't care for people who don't listen, even when its in their best interest to listen -- but He does not center out just gay people and tell of some specific hate He has for them.

I don't know if anyone will agree with me. I haven't heard many, as I have found the truth is not popular. Jesus also found out that the truth was not popular.

I'm sure that God hates SOME gay people, but not for being Gay.

This Bisexual Christian knows how and why he turned out Bisexual, but also knows how and why he's a Christian. (Enough of speaking in the third person! We had enough of that with Bob Dole. lol)

In the Bible God said that He loved Jacob, and hated Esau. Why? Because if you read that story, you will find that Esau treated the things of God cheaply. Jacob greatly desired the birthright promise of God. And Esau gave it away for a bowl of -- whatever it was.

Why did I bring that up? Because that's the kind of person God loves. The ones that value His position on things. So there are Gays that love God, no matter what the Fred Phelps of the world says. They are Gay, yet they have an inward poull that draws them near to Him. It doesn't mean they stop being Gay, it only means that they have their fleshly desires contesting with the eternal Spirit that God bestows to the sinner. Just like any human.

So in a way; Gay is nothing, Bi is nothing: It is the eternal aspect of what God sees us as; either saved or unsaved. I could go into so much more, but I think that I answered your question.

There is a site that I frequent if you'd like to converse more on this subject.
http://www.factoropinion.net

It is NOt a Christian site. It's actually run by a non Christian Gay person that appears on YouTube. But he runs his site fairly, and so I am tolerated. I hope to see you there. ( :

If God hated gay people why would he call so many to the priesthood? God hate gay people? Did you ever hear of a Mrs. God?

No, God does not hate gays. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world", it doesn't list "certain" people. However, God does hate the sin of homosexuality.

Read yourself
The Holy Qur'an
{
26:160. The people of Lut rejected the messengers.
26:161. Behold, their brother Lut said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)?
26:162. "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust.
26:163. "So fear Allah and obey me.
26:164. "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the lord of the Worlds.
26:165. "Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males,
26:166. "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!"
26:167. They said: "If thou desist not, O Lut! thou wilt assuredly be cast out!"
26:168. He said: "I do detest your doings."
26:169. "O my Lord! deliver me and my family from such things as they do!"
26:170. So We delivered him and his family,- all
26:171. Except an old woman who lingered behind.
26:172. But the rest We destroyed utterly.
26:173. We rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): and evil was the shower on those who were admonished (but heeded not)!
26:174. Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe.
26:175. And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might Most Merciful.

It is the intent that God looks at, what is the intent behind what you do. God does not hate as we hate. He says...my thought are not your thoughts, neither is your ways my ways...We (mankind) judge and hate based on appearances. God judges the heart.

we certainly can not know what God thinks (especially since there is, very probably, no God) but people claim he has been hanging around with a bunch of beautiful "male" angels, and was never married, though he did procreate, at least once.
so maybe he is not so much against gay people, or he would not make so many of them.

God created man and woman to be together and make babies. I was thinking about this, and honestly even nature says that too. You put a male and male together, you won't get any babies. Same with females. A fact of life.
